Upload the `kavin-site-backup-migration` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`. 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress. 3. Open **Kavin Backup** in the admin sidebar. ## FAQ ### Will I lose data when migrating? No. The importer restores your database and files exactly, and safely rewrites the old site URL to the new one, including inside serialized data. ### Does it work on shared hosting? Yes.
