When two- way stock sync is enabled in KasbPro, KasbPro can push updated stock quantities back to your WooCommerce products and variations via an API-key-authenticated REST endpoint (`/wp-json/kasbpro/v1/stock`). Your API key is only ever sent server-to- server, never exposed in the browser. #### Requirements * A free [KasbPro](https://kasbpro.com) account (created from inside the plugin, or connected with an existing API key). * WooCommerce, if you want order/product/stock sync — the dashboards work without it. ### External services This plugin connects your site to KasbPro (erp.kasbpro.com), the ERP service it is built to work with. This is required for the plugin’s core functionality — the dashboards and sync have no purpose without it. **What is sent, and when:** * **Onboarding** — when you register a new account or connect an existing one from the plugin’s setup screen, your business name, your name, email, phone (optional) and site URL are sent to KasbPro to create/link your account. This happens only when you submit that form. * **Dashboards** — every KasbPro admin page requests your business figures (sales, purchases, inventory, CRM, HR, tasks, finance) from `https://erp.kasbpro.com/ api/insights/dashboard`, authenticated with your API key, so they can be displayed inside wp-admin. This happens when you open a KasbPro dashboard page (results are cached for 10 minutes). * **WooCommerce sync** — when an order is marked Processing/Completed (or Refunded/ Cancelled), or a product/variation is created/updated, its data is sent to `https:// erp.kasbpro.com` to create/void a Sales Invoice or update the product/stock record in KasbPro. The manual “Sync & Export” tool sends existing orders/products/customers in the same way, in the date range and batches you choose. * **HR sync** — when a WordPress user is given the “HR (KasbPro Sync)” role, or registers with that role, their display name and email are sent to KasbPro as a staff profile. * **AI summary (Pro only)** — if you click “Generate summary” on a dashboard page, the figures already shown on that page are sent to KasbPro, which uses your own configured AI key to generate the summary text. No data is sent to any third party other than KasbPro (erp.kasbpro.com), which is operated by the same company that publishes this plugin. In your WordPress admin, go to **Plugins Add New**, search for “KasbPro ERP Sync for WooCommerce”, and click **Install Now**, then **Activate**. (Or upload the zip via **Plugins Add New Upload Plugin**.) 2. Go to the new **KasbPro** menu in wp-admin and either create a free account or connect an existing one with your API key. 3. Optional: activate WooCommerce first if you want orders, products and stock to sync automatically. ## FAQ ### Do I need a KasbPro account? Yes. The plugin is a WordPress-side companion to the free KasbPro ERP — it has no functionality without a connected account, which you can create for free directly from the plugin’s setup screen. ### Do I need WooCommerce? No. The insight dashboards and HR staff sync work without it. WooCommerce is only required for automatic order/product/stock sync and the per-product Cost Price field. ### Is the AI summary feature free? The dashboards and all sync features are free. The one-click AI summary panel on each page is a KasbPro Pro feature. ### Does this plugin store my data locally in WordPress? No business data is stored in WordPress. The plugin stores your API key and app URL as WordPress options, and briefly caches dashboard figures (10 minutes) using WordPress transients so pages load quickly. ### What happens to my settings if I delete the plugin? Deleting the plugin (not just deactivating it) removes its stored API key, settings, cached data and the “HR (KasbPro Sync)” role from WordPress.
