## Description

JPZAC retrieves Japanese address information from postal codes using the Japan Post
API.

The plugin supports WooCommerce Classic Checkout and Checkout Blocks.

To use JPZAC, you need a Japan Post Yu ID and API authentication credentials.

**Setup**

 1. Obtain a Yu ID and sign in to the Japan Post Postal Code and Digital Address for
    Biz service.
 2. For testing, obtain the credentials listed under “Test API Credentials” and the
token and address search endpoints from the test API reference.
 3. For production use, register a system in the system list and obtain your production
    Client ID and Client Secret.
 4. Find the production token and address search endpoints in the API reference.
 5. Enter these credentials and endpoints in the JPZAC settings page.

When entering the address search endpoint URL, remove the trailing `{search_code}`
placeholder.

**Known Limitations**

 * Digital Address lookup is not supported.
 * Reverse lookup from an address to a postal code is not supported.

### Uninstallation

Deactivate and delete JPZAC through the WordPress Plugins menu.

### External Services

JPZAC uses the Japan Post Postal Code and Digital Address API to retrieve Japanese
address information from postal codes.

When a customer enters a postal code and an address lookup is required,
 the plugin
sends the postal code to the Japan Post API through the WordPress server. API authentication
credentials are also sent to Japan Post when obtaining an access token.

The service is provided by Japan Post Co., Ltd.

JPZAC is an independently developed plugin and is not an official Japan Post product.
