Simply create a gallery, upload your photos, and let the plugin’s AI process them. Your customers can then visit the gallery page, upload a reference photo (a selfie), and the plugin will instantly show them all the photos where they appear. Upload the `jmpg-face-match-for-photographers` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory. 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress. 3. Go to ‘Face Match’ > ‘Settings’ to configure the plugin, including the page where your galleries will be displayed. 4. Create a new gallery under ‘Face Match’ > ‘Galerias’ > ‘Adicionar Nova Galeria’. 5. Upload your photos to the gallery. In the gallery’s edit screen, go to the “Controlo e Status do Processamento FaceAPI” box and click “Iniciar Processamento de Faces”. The free version processes images locally in your browser. 6. Create a new page (e.g., “Event Photos”) and set it as the “Página de Visualização da Galeria” in the plugin’s settings. 7. Share the link to your gallery (found in the “Gestão de Imagens e Partilha” box) or the generated QR code with your customers! ## FAQ ### How does facial recognition work? Is it private? The default browser-based recognition process was designed with privacy in mind. When a customer uploads a selfie for search, facial detection and analysis occur directly in their web browser using JavaScript. The reference photo itself is not uploaded to your server. Only a mathematical representation (a “descriptor”) of the face is used for comparison and is discarded after the search. For advanced plans using AWS Rekognition, processing is handled securely via encrypted, isolated cloud Lambda functions. ### Is WooCommerce required? Yes, WooCommerce is required to allow customers to purchase the photos. The plugin integrates with WooCommerce products to define what your customers are buying (e. g., a 10×15 print, a digital download). ### How do I display a gallery on my site? The recommended method is to select a dedicated “Gallery View Page” in the plugin’s settings. The plugin will then automatically generate unique, shareable URLs for each gallery (e.g., `https://yoursite.com/gallery-page/galeria/123`). You can also use the Elementor widget or the shortcode `[face_match_gallery id="123"]` if you prefer manual placement. ### What happens if a face is not detected in the customer’s search photo? The user will receive an on-screen message asking them to try another photo, preferably one with a clear and frontal view of their face. ### What happens when I delete a gallery? When you delete a gallery from the WordPress admin panel, all photos associated with that gallery are permanently deleted from your media library and server.
