**Third-Party Service Usage**

This plugin relies on [form.jalpi.com](https://form.jalpi.com), an external service
operated by Konceptwise Digital Media Pvt. Ltd., to create and host your forms. 
When you embed a form using this plugin, your site loads a script from the form.
jalpi.com servers to display the form on the front end.

No data is sent from your WordPress site to form.jalpi.com by the plugin itself.
However, when a visitor views or submits an embedded form, the visitor’s browser
communicates directly with form.jalpi.com.

### Configuration

After activation, follow these steps to add your first form:

 1.  Go to [form.jalpi.com](https://form.jalpi.com) and create a free account if you
     don’t have one already.
 2.  Build your form using the visual builder and publish it.
 3.  Copy the embed script provided by form.jalpi.com for your form.
 4.  In your WordPress admin, go to **JalpiForm** in the sidebar menu.
 5.  Enter a name for your form (e.g., “Contact Form”) in the **Form Name** field.
 6.  Paste the embed script into the **Embed Script** field.
 7.  Click **Save Form**.
 8.  Copy the generated shortcode (e.g., `[jalpi_form id="1"]`).
 9.  Paste the shortcode into any page, post, or widget where you want the form to 
     appear.

To add more forms, repeat steps 2–9. Each form gets its own unique shortcode.

To edit or delete a form, go to **JalpiForm** in the sidebar and use the **Edit**
or **Delete** buttons in the forms table.

## Installation

 1. Upload the `jalpi-form` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install
    it directly from the WordPress plugin repository.
 2. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** menu in WordPress.

### Where do I create my form?

Visit [form.jalpi.com](https://form.jalpi.com), register for a free account, and
use the visual builder to create your form. Once ready, copy the embed script.

### What types of forms can I create?

You can create contact forms, lead capture forms with OTP verification, surveys,
feedback forms, registration forms, and any custom form using the visual builder
at form.jalpi.com.

### What is OTP verification?

OTP (One-Time Password) verification is a built-in feature of form.jalpi.com that
verifies a user’s email or phone number before the form is submitted. This ensures
that every lead you receive is from a real, verified person — no fake submissions.

### Is my form data secure?

The form data is handled entirely by form.jalpi.com, not by this plugin. form.jalpi.
com uses end-to-end encryption for data at rest and in transit, along with spam 
protection and brute-force attack prevention. This plugin does not store, process,
or transmit any form submission data — it only manages the embed scripts and shortcodes
on your WordPress site.

### How do I manage submitted leads?

form.jalpi.com provides a lead management dashboard where you can view all submitted
leads. Each lead shows a custom verification status indicating whether the submission
was OTP-verified or not, so you can easily distinguish genuine leads from unverified
ones.

The plugin itself does not collect, store, or process any visitor data — it only
