## Description

Jadav Mail Activity Logger records outgoing emails sent through WordPress and shows
recent email activity in the admin dashboard.

The plugin is designed for site owners who need a simple local record of outgoing
email activity. Open tracking is optional and disabled by default. If enabled, the
plugin adds a small tracking pixel to HTML emails and records when that pixel loads.

### Privacy

This plugin stores email activity locally in the WordPress database. Open tracking

## Installation

 1. Upload the plugin files to `/wp-content/plugins/jadav-mail-activity-logger/` or
    install the ZIP through WordPress admin.
 2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins screen.
 3. Go to Mail Activity in the WordPress admin menu.
 4. Review settings and enable open tracking only if your privacy policy allows it.

## FAQ

### Does the plugin send data to an external service?

No. Logs stay in your WordPress database.

### Is open tracking enabled by default?

No. Open tracking is disabled by default. You can enable it from the settings page.

### How does open tracking work?

When enabled, the plugin adds a small image pixel to HTML emails. When the email
client loads that image, the plugin records an open event.

### Does open tracking work for plain text emails?

No. The plugin only adds the tracking pixel to HTML emails.

### What is the extra feature in this plugin?

The plugin includes CSV export for recent email activity and retention cleanup settings.

### What should I include in my privacy policy?

If you enable open tracking, disclose that email open activity may be logged. The
