Features: * Responsive banner linking to https://france-renov.gouv.fr/servicepublic. * Bottom-of-page mode: the banner appears after the footer and scrolls with the page. * Fixed-on-screen mode without a close button. * Fixed-on-screen mode with a close button and locally stored dismissal preference. * Optional spacing below the site content to prevent a fixed banner from covering the footer. * Configurable desktop image height between 50 and 160 pixels. * Proportional image resizing on mobile devices. * Local image, CSS and JavaScript assets. * French administration interface with settings and links to official information sources. * Contextual links to the publisher’s optional professional services in the plugin administration pages. The banner is printed through the standard WordPress footer hook. If that HTML is missing from the document, the plugin’s script creates the banner using configuration supplied with WordPress head assets. The banner is placed directly under the body element to reduce conflicts with theme and page builder containers. The optional professional services are presented separately: Anthony Menard for webmarketing, IOTAWEB for website creation and development, and Generation de leads for lead generation. IOTAWEB is owned by Anthony Menard. These services are not required to use the free plugin. No promotional links are inserted on the public website and the plugin does not display global promotional administration notices. This plugin is independent and is not published, approved or endorsed by France Renov, ANAH or the French government. It provides a technical display tool and does not guarantee legal compliance of a website, advertisements or business practices. ## Installation 1. Upload the ZIP using Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, or install it from the WordPress plugin directory when available. 2. Activate the plugin. 3. Open the French menu “Bannière énergétique > Réglages”. 4. Select bottom-of-page, permanently fixed, or fixed with a close button. 5. For fixed-on-screen modes, enable the footer spacing option if required. Bottom- of-page mode does not add compensation spacing. 6. Save your settings. For older ZIP builds installed in the banniere-conformite-energetique or banniere- conformite-energetique-assistant directory, deactivate the old copy before activating this package. Existing banner settings are copied once to the new iotaweb_bce_settings option and sanitized. Existing new settings are never overwritten. The legacy option is retained for rollback. ## FAQ ### Does the plugin work with page builders? The plugin does not depend on a particular builder. It uses standard WordPress hooks and places the banner directly under the body element. The theme must load WordPress head assets. Without JavaScript, the theme must also print the WordPress footer hook. Compatibility with every version of every builder is not guaranteed. ### What are the display modes? Bottom-of-page mode places the banner after the footer within normal document flow. Visitors see it when they reach the bottom of the page. The other modes keep the banner fixed at the bottom of the screen, either permanently or with a close button. ### How can I prevent the banner from covering the footer? In bottom-of-page mode, the banner appears after the footer and does not cover it. In fixed-on-screen modes, enable footer spacing. The plugin measures the rendered banner height and reserves matching space below the content, recalculating it when the viewport changes. ### Does the plugin use an external service? No external service is required. The banner image, CSS and JavaScript are bundled locally. External websites are accessed only when a visitor clicks the public service link or an administrator follows the source or optional service links in the plugin’s pages. ### Does the plugin store visitor data? Only the optional closable mode stores a dismissal preference in the browser’s localStorage under the key iotaweb_bce_banner_closed. The plugin does not create cookies or collect or transmit personal data. Permanent and bottom-of-page modes do not use that preference to hide the banner. ### Does the plugin guarantee legal compliance? No. It provides a technical display tool and links to official sources.
