This is especially useful for: * Merchants who want to keep a historical reference for stock audits * Shops that need traceability between the first stock entry and current stock * Warehouse or logistics workflows * Reporting, forecasting, or integration with external systems The plugin adds two fields to every product and variation: * **Initial Stock Quantity** * **Initial Stock Date** Both fields are manually filled by the user. If left empty, WooCommerce continues to function normally. Edit any product or variation. 5. Open the **Inventory** tab and fill in the Initial Stock fields. ## FAQ ### Does this plugin modify my stock automatically? No. The plugin only stores the initial values you manually enter. It does not sync, calculate, or change WooCommerce stock levels. ### Are the Initial Stock fields required? No. If left empty, WooCommerce behaves as normal. ### Does it support product variations? Yes. Each variation gets its own Initial Stock Quantity and Initial Stock Date. ### Can I export these values? Yes. Most export/import plugins will detect the custom meta fields stored by this plugin. The meta keys are: * `_isfwc_initial_stock_qty` * `_isfwc_initial_stock_date` * `_isfwc_initial_stock_status` ### Is the plugin compatible with HPOS? Yes.
