## Description

IndexToast is the secure connector between WordPress and your hosted IndexToast
account. It progressively syncs public URL metadata, automatically sends new and
updated publishing events, and keeps the connection healthy. Manage URL inventory,
visibility checks, submissions, usage, and multiple websites together at app.indextoast.
com.

“Submitted,” “processed,” and “indexed” are separate states. IndexToast does not
promise search-engine inclusion or ranking.

### External services

IndexToast connects to the IndexToast hosted service only after an administrator
chooses to connect the website. The service provides secure website connection,
submission processing, status reconciliation, technical preflight checks, and account-
based allowances that cannot be performed by the plugin alone.

When a site is connected, the plugin sends the public website domain, public content
URLs, content identifiers, content type, title, event time, and the minimal plugin
diagnostics needed to provide the service. It does not send post bodies, passwords,
drafts, private posts, or password-protected content.

### Privacy

The service and data disclosure are described above under “External services.” IndexToast
uses data only to provide the selected account service, including secure connection,
indexing submission, status reconciliation, and technical preflight checks.

## Installation

 1. Upload the `indextoast` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/` or install the ZIP.
 2. Activate IndexToast.
 3. Open IndexToast in WordPress admin.

## Changelog

#### 0.1.54

 * Combines Google status checks and Standard submissions into one shared Indexing
   units balance.
 * Aligns WordPress allowance counters and submission limits with the hosted customer
   workspace.
 * Keeps Priority Instant processing separate and clarifies that local technical
preflight does not consume Indexing units.

#### 0.1.53

 * Restores compact IndexToast status and submission controls to Posts and Pages.
 * Restores the editor-side automatic submission preference and manual Standard
   or Priority actions.
 * Restores site-local Automation Settings and Local Diagnostics without recreating
   the hosted dashboard.
 * Connects WordPress directly to the hosted URL inventory and Technical Issues
   workspace.
 * Restores explicit hosted Check Index Status, Submit Standard, and Submit Priority
   Instant actions.

#### 0.1.52

 * Adds a clearer connector health screen with URL discovery totals and scheduled-
   sync context.
 * Adds a secure “Sync public URLs now” control for delayed WordPress Cron environments.
 * Explains what data moves between WordPress and the centralized workspace—and
   what remains private.
 * Links directly to the hosted multi-site inventory, connector help, and recommended
   next steps.

#### 0.1.51

 * Turns the WordPress plugin into a focused, secure connector for the centralized
   IndexToast workspace.
 * Progressively syncs public post, page, and product URL metadata in resumable
   batches of 100.
 * Keeps automatic new and updated content submission running in the background.
 * Moves multi-site URL inventory, visibility filters, credit estimates, checks,
   and submissions to app.indextoast.com.
 * Adds portfolio filters for detected, undetected, unchecked, submitted, attention,
and excluded URLs across 30, 45, 90-day, or all-time windows.

#### 0.1.48

 * Adds original IndexToast guides to WordPress indexability and canonical URLs.
 * Keeps technical preflight guidance on IndexToast instead of sending users to
   a third-party glossary.
 * Connects both guides with the installation, pricing, and support journey.

#### 0.1.47

 * Adds WordPress-native bulk Standard and Priority submission actions for selected
   Posts and Pages.
 * Skips drafts, private content, invalid URLs, and items the current user cannot
   edit.
 * Reports queued, skipped, and failed totals after every bulk submission.

#### 0.1.46

 * Keeps IndexToast screens focused by hiding WordPress core and third-party plugin
notices only inside the IndexToast workspace.
 * Leaves those notices unchanged everywhere else in WordPress admin.

#### 0.1.45

 * Prevents the IndexToast list column from crushing third-party SEO and link-stat
   columns on busy Posts screens.
 * Uses a compact, content-aware table layout without forcing oversized Title and
   IndexToast widths.
 * Adds separate, default-on settings for showing IndexToast controls on Posts and
   Pages.

#### 0.1.44

 * Keeps the in-plugin What’s New feed synchronized with the changelog packaged
   in every release.
 * Automatically sorts and displays the ten newest versions without maintaining
   a second release list.
 * Backfills the missing release notes from versions 0.1.35 through 0.1.43.

#### 0.1.43

 * Fixes bulk Standard, Priority, status-check, and exclusion actions when the loading
   screen locks the form.
 * Preserves the selected bulk operation in the secure request before disabling
   controls.
 * Attempts every selected URL and reports partial queue failures without discarding
   successful submissions.

#### 0.1.42

 * Prevents first-run and daily reconciliation from flooding the submission queue
   with 100 historical URLs.
 * Reconciles only content modified since the last successful run in safe, resumable
   batches.
 * Uses the normal publish/update idempotency identity so a content change cannot
   be submitted twice.

#### 0.1.41

 * Declares compatibility with WordPress 7.0 for the WordPress.org submission checker.

#### 0.1.40

 * Keeps WordPress and other plugin notices available rather than suppressing them
   inside IndexToast screens.
 * Removes the retired dashboard host from the secure connection redirect allow-
   list.
 * Restricts manual URL submissions to the connected website, matching the existing
   bulk and editor controls.

#### 0.1.39

 * Prepares the public release with clear WordPress.org external-service and privacy
   disclosures.
 * Uses the current production IndexToast account, billing, and Priority Credit
   destinations throughout the plugin.

#### 0.1.38

 * Adds a calmer premium workspace background and refined IndexToast command-bar
   treatments.
 * Improves visual hierarchy for the Overview, usage signals, and quick actions.

#### 0.1.37

 * Adds a Settings control to show or hide the IndexToast status column on Posts
and Pages; it is enabled by default.
 * Resolves post-list action compatibility so IndexToast actions do not disrupt
actions added by other WordPress plugins.
 * Places the IndexToast list column after Author when that column is available.

   and product editors.

   matching.

 * Adds a native IndexToast publishing panel to supported post, page, and product
   editors.
 * Adds secure one-click Standard and Priority actions to WordPress content-list
   rows.
 * Makes per-page automatic submission preferences apply to live publishing and
   daily reconciliation.
 * Stops treating cached inconclusive preflight evidence as a running request.
 * Rotates playful IndexToastBot crawler messages while a real preflight is in progress.

   and preflight results.

   and canonical signals.

   the Railway cutover.

#### 0.1.29

 * Verifies technical signals with crawler and browser requests before showing a
   negative verdict.
 * Rechecks uncertain or negative results after five minutes instead of preserving
   stale red states.
 * Runs the Google search sample independently from technical preflight.
 * Treats absence from sampled Google results as inconclusive rather than “not indexed.”

#### 0.1.28

 * Makes technical and canonical preflight advisory so requested submissions continue.
 * Adds robust canonical parsing regardless of attribute order or quoting style.
 * Shows a verified-check loading state instead of temporary false output.
 * Rebuilds Site Readiness around connection, automation, and verified page evidence.

   header.
