## Description

icomm site health gives you a clear dashboard for the health of a WordPress site.
Every feature in this plugin is included and usable. There is no license key and
no locked module.

#### What you get

 * **Dashboard** with a site score (0-100) aligned with the improvement plan.
 * **Scan center** for a full link scan, a quick recheck of flagged links, and a
   plan refresh.
 * **Broken links** from posts, pages, menus, widgets, Elementor, and WooCommerce.
Batched scan with progress. Recheck, ignore, replace a URL in content, and CSV
   export.
 * **WordPress Health** for core/PHP updates, memory, cron, REST API, database,
SSL, plugin audit, and database cleanup (revisions, auto-drafts, trash, spam,
expired transients, transients loaded on every request, OPTIMIZE TABLE).
 * **Improvement plan** with prioritized tasks from broken links, WordPress checks,
privacy (Amendment 13), security, accessibility, and homepage signals.
 * **Daily scheduled scan** and optional email when broken links are found.
 * **GA4 / Tag Manager / Meta Pixel / Google Ads / TikTok** injection from Settings(
survives theme updates). Optional Lead after a successful form. Optional wait
for a consent banner such as Complianz.

External speed tests (PageSpeed Insights in the browser, WordPress.com speed test)
open in a new tab. The plugin does not store those results.

A separate Pro version with additional modules (security, privacy, performance,
SEO and Google, reports, and one-click fixes) is published at [icomm.market](https://icomm.market/site-health-en/).
This WordPress.org package is complete on its own. You can open that page from the
plugin dashboard, Settings, or the Plugins list.

#### Works well with

 * Cache plugins such as LiteSpeed Cache
 * icomm Image Optimizer, when installed
 * icomm Video Optimizer, when installed
 * icomm Malware Guard, when installed
 * Consent plugins such as Complianz

### External services

This plugin can connect to third-party services. None of them are required for the
core scanner and health checks. Tracking tags are sent only if you paste an ID in
Settings.

#### Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics (GA4), and Google Ads

Used when you save a GTM, GA4, or Google Ads ID in Settings. The public site then
loads scripts from googletagmanager.com so those products can measure visits or
conversions. Data sent is determined by Google (typically page URL, browser data,
and a client identifier). Requests happen on front-end page views, after consent
if you enable wait-for-consent.

Terms: https://policies.google.com/terms
 Privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google Analytics terms: https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/ Tag Manager terms:
https://www.google.com/analytics/tag-manager/use-policy/

#### Meta Pixel

Used when you save a Meta Pixel ID in Settings. The public site then loads fbevents.
js from connect.facebook.net. Data sent is determined by Meta (typically page URL
and browser data). Requests happen on front-end page views, after consent if you
enable wait-for-consent.

Terms: https://www.facebook.com/terms.php
 Privacy: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/
policy/

#### TikTok Pixel

Used when you save a TikTok Pixel ID in Settings. The public site then loads the
TikTok events script from analytics.tiktok.com. Data sent is determined by TikTok(
typically page URL and browser data). Requests happen on front-end page views, after
consent if you enable wait-for-consent.

Terms: https://www.tiktok.com/legal/page/row/terms-of-service/en
 Privacy: https://
www.tiktok.com/legal/page/row/privacy-policy/en

#### PageSpeed Insights and WordPress.com speed test

The dashboard can open these tools in a new browser tab so you can run a speed test
yourself. The plugin does not send your API keys or store those results. You leave
WordPress and use the third-party site directly.

PageSpeed Insights (Google): https://pagespeed.web.dev/
 Terms: https://policies.
google.com/terms Privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

WordPress.com speed test (Automattic): https://wordpress.com/speed-test/

#### Your own site

Health scoring may request the site homepage over HTTP(S) from the WordPress server(
the same site). No data is sent to icomm.systems in this WordPress.org package.

## Installation

 1. Upload the `icomm-site-health` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`
 2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu
 3. Open **icomm site health** in the admin menu
 4. Run a full link scan from the dashboard

## FAQ

### Does this plugin require a license key?

No. Everything shipped in this package is available after activation.

### How do I get the Pro version?

This WordPress.org package stays free and complete for the features listed above.
The Pro version (security, privacy, performance, SEO and Google, reports, and one-
click fixes) is sold separately at [icomm.market](https://icomm.market/site-health-en/).
The plugin links there from the dashboard, the improvement plan, and the Plugins
list.

### Where do I rate the plugin?

On WordPress.org, on the plugin Reviews tab, or from the Plugins list link in wp-
admin.

### Why is there a max links per scan setting?

Large sites can time out on shared hosting. The setting (100-1500, default 500)
is a technical limit you can raise yourself.

### Does the plugin execute arbitrary code?

No. It scans links, reports WordPress health, and can inject Google Analytics or
Tag Manager from an ID you paste in Settings.

### 󠀁[Found broken links I didn’t know were there](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/found-broken-links-i-didnt-know-were-there/)󠁿

I’m not a developer, I just take care of our company site. I installed this because
I was tired of finding 404s only after someone emailed us. I ran the scan and left
it in the background. After it finished I had a list of dead links, including two
in the footer I completely forgot about, and an old button on a page from last year.
I fixed those the same day. The score on the dashboard was lower than I expected,
which annoyed me at first, but the list underneath actually told me what to do.
Some of it is the usual WordPress stuff (updates, database junk). The broken links
part is what I needed. First scan took a while. After that it’s been fine. I get
an email if something new breaks, which is the whole point for me.

### 󠀁[Found 404s in WooCommerce and cleaned them up](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/found-404s-in-woocommerce-and-cleaned-them-up/)󠁿

 [alseng](https://profiles.wordpress.org/alseng/) September 20, 2026

I run a small WooCommerce shop on Elementor. Customers were hitting dead product
and category links, and I had no simple list of what was broken. After activation
I opened the Scan center and ran a full link scan. It picked up broken URLs from
products, pages, and widgets, with progress so I could leave it running. Recheck
confirmed what was still dead. Replace a URL in content saved time on repeats. I
exported CSV for my notes. The improvement plan ordered the leftover WordPress checks(
SSL, database, plugin audit) after the link issues, which matched how I actually
work. I set a daily scan. Shared hosting did not time out with the default batch
size.No license screen. I did not turn on analytics tags. For broken links plus
a site score I can show a client, this plugin did the job.

### 󠀁[Clear score, broken-link scan, and a plan I can follow](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/clear-score-broken-link-scan-and-a-plan-i-can-follow/)󠁿

 [ins2000](https://profiles.wordpress.org/ins2000/) September 20, 2026

I installed icomm site health on a live WordPress site and ran a full scan from
the dashboard. The site score (0–100) matched the improvement plan, so I knew what
to fix first instead of guessing. The broken-link scan found issues in posts, pages,
and the menu. Recheck and ignore were useful, and CSV export helped me share the
list. WordPress Health was practical: core/PHP status, memory, cron, REST, SSL,
and database cleanup (revisions, trash, transients). Daily scheduled scan is on,
with email when new broken links show up. No license key. Everything in this package
worked after activation. Tracking tags in Settings are optional; I left them off.
If you want a health dashboard you can act on, this is worth installing.

## Changelog

#### 1.0.10

 * Fewer false missing-alt rows: Elementor images that already have Alt in the Media
   Library are not flagged.
 * XML-RPC and readme.html warnings follow the public site (blocked access is OK),
not only whether the WordPress file exists on disk.
 * Plugin list and dashboard use “Upgrade to PRO”, matching other icomm plugins.
 * Hebrew admin screens stay fully Hebrew (scan process text is no longer mixed
   with English).

#### 1.0.9

 * Clearer Pro wording in the dashboard, improvement plan, and Plugins list.
 * The improvement plan lists many more findings: each broken destination, pages
missing meta or alt, media library, privacy (Amendment 13), security, and accessibility.
 * Image, video, and suspicious-file notes include a manual action plus a download
button for the matching icomm plugin (Image Optimizer, Video Optimizer, Malware
   Guard, File Manager).
 * More stable link scans. The scan cap (default 500) is explained on the dashboard.
 * Shorter plugin summary in the WordPress.org directory.

#### 1.0.8

 * Improvement plan and health checks explain that one-click fixes are in the full
   edition on icomm.market.

#### 1.0.7

 * Enable or disable automatic updates from the Plugins list, like other WordPress.
   org plugins.

#### 1.0.6

 * Dashboard, Settings, and the Plugins list now link to the full edition on icomm.
   market.
 * Link to rate the plugin on WordPress.org.

#### 1.0.5

 * PHP execution time is raised only for long-running scans and cleanup, not on
   every dashboard load.

#### 1.0.4

 * Product logo in the admin menu and on plugin screens.

#### 1.0.3

 * Tracking tags and admin loading UI use WordPress script and style enqueue APIs.
 * Documented optional Google, Meta, TikTok, and public speed-test services.

#### 1.0.2

 * Tracking tags from settings: Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok, and a Lead after
a successful form, in addition to GA4 and Tag Manager.
 * WordPress Health autoload check uses size, not only option count. Database cleanup
can stop transients from loading on every request.
 * Full Hebrew interface for the new settings and health checks.

#### 1.0.1

 * Stability and compatibility improvements.

#### 1.0.0

 * First WordPress.org release: dashboard, link scanner, WordPress health, improvement
plan, database cleanup, daily scan, email reports, CSV export, and GA4/GTM injection.
