Plans include a 7-day free trial— see [hyperleap.ai](https://hyperleap.ai/) for current pricing. ### External services This plugin connects to **Hyperleap AI**, a third-party AI chatbot service, to display the chat widget and power its AI responses. * **What is loaded:** the widget script from `https://chatjs.hyperleap.ai/chatbot. min.js` on your site’s front-end pages when the plugin is configured and enabled. * **What data is sent:** when a visitor uses the chat, their messages (and any details they type, such as a name or email) are sent to Hyperleap AI to generate responses and store the conversation for you. If you disable the plugin or leave the settings empty, no external requests are made. ## Installation 1. Install and activate the plugin. 2. Go to **Settings Hyperleap AI Chat**. 3. In your [Hyperleap dashboard](https://studio.hyperleapai.com/), open your chatbot’s website deployment settings and copy the **Chatbot ID** and **Embed Key** (shown as `chatbotId` and `privateKey` in the embed snippet). 4. Paste both values, save — the chat bubble appears on your site. ## FAQ ### Do I need a Hyperleap AI account? Yes. The plugin connects your WordPress site to a chatbot you create at hyperleap. ai. Plans include a 7-day free trial (credit card required). ### Is the “privateKey” safe to use here? The Embed Key is the same value Hyperleap’s standard embed snippet places in your page source — it is a client-side widget key scoped to displaying your chatbot, not an account API key. Treat it like the rest of your embed code. ### Will it slow down my site? No. The widget script is enqueued asynchronously in the footer, so it downloads in parallel and never blocks rendering. Until you configure and enable the plugin, nothing loads at all. ### Can I show the widget only on certain pages? Version 1.0 shows it site-wide with a global on/off toggle. Per-page rules are planned. ### Does this work with caching plugins? Yes. The widget is plain JavaScript output with your pages; just purge your cache after changing settings. ### Where do conversations go?
