Heloow adds an AI chat to WordPress that can explain your delivery policy, answer common questions about your services, and use the public content you approve. When a conversation needs a person, your team can take over in Heloow or follow up through a support ticket. Choose up to five published, public pages. Once the connection is approved and you enable public content synchronization, Heloow synchronizes the content you selected along with your site’s public name and description. WordPress schedules a new sync when those pages change, so you can keep your support content up to date as you edit your site. **What you can do with Heloow** * **Answer using your own content.** Help visitors get answers based on the pages you approve, without copying those pages into another tool. * **Help customers check their own orders.** With WooCommerce and the required permissions, the plugin can look up allowed order details for a signed-in customer in read-only mode. Using those details in AI responses requires separate consent. * **Keep control of your information.** Choose the pages and features you want to authorize. One setting pauses chat, automatic synchronization, and order lookups. * **Connect from your WordPress dashboard.** Pair with a one-time code and wait for approval from the Heloow team. Your WordPress host needs no Node.js or MCP. **Requirements** You need a Heloow account and a site authorized within that account. The service offers a free plan and paid options; Heloow manages features and usage limits. All local plugin code is available under GPLv2 or later. Your hosting environment must support PHP plugins, outbound HTTPS connections to heloow.com, and inbound HTTPS requests to the WordPress REST API. The plugin requires 64-bit PHP 7.4 or later, the PHP OpenSSL extension with AES-256-GCM, HTTPS on your site, and pretty permalinks. The WordPress address and public site address must use the same HTTPS origin, without a custom port. This version does not support plain permalinks using ?rest_route=. WooCommerce is optional. Without it, support based on public knowledge remains available after connection, approval, and local enablement. Order queries require customer authentication, local consent, and approval of the corresponding configuration in Heloow. In this version, using order details in AI responses requires additional AI consent. ### External service This plugin is a connector for the **Heloow** service, operated at https://heloow. com. AI, models, support history, tickets, usage quotas, and the support dashboard run in the Heloow service, not on this WordPress hosting environment. The plugin does not make external requests when installed or activated. The first connection requires an administrator action and explicit consent to use the service. **What is sent and when** * When connecting to Heloow: the site’s HTTPS origin, fixed REST callback address, selected permissions, one-time installation code, and pairing key. The key is protected locally and is never included in public HTML. * When checking the connection: the installation identifier and signed proof. This checks whether the connection has been approved, suspended, or revoked. * When synchronizing knowledge: the public site name and description, plus the title, URL, and text of up to five selected, published pages. Synchronization occurs through an administrator action and, while the integration is enabled, through WordPress scheduling after those pages change. Unselected content, drafts, and password-protected pages are not sent. * When chat is enabled: the browser loads https://heloow.com/widget.js and sends messages and the data needed for support directly to Heloow. The service receives the connection data normally associated with a web request. The widget is part of the documented service and may display Heloow attribution according to the selected plan. * When an authenticated customer uses order queries: the technical user and installation identifiers, temporary proofs, and permitted fields from that customer’s own orders. The projected fields include the order number and identifier, status, date, currency, total, item names, and quantities, limited to five orders and ten items per order. Payment data, addresses, email addresses, cookies, and the raw WordPress session are not sent by this connector. * AI use of order details requires separate authorization. The AI provider selected for support may process these details when authorized. Messages and tickets submitted by visitors may contain personal information they enter themselves. * When disconnecting: the plugin attempts to communicate withdrawal of consent and remove its synchronized sources. It then removes the local key and configuration, even if the service is unavailable. Contact Heloow support to revoke the installation on the service. Deletion of data already stored in the service follows its Privacy Policy and the service’s own controls. When you clear the support and integration setting and save, the plugin stops chat, query callbacks, and automatic synchronization, without making further background synchronization calls. Explicit administrator actions to check or disconnect the connection remain available. Uninstalling removes local settings and temporary identifiers; it does not delete orders, pages, or accounts, and does not send external requests. If you change the WordPress security keys or salts, the protected local key can no longer be read. Generate a new code and connect again. Expanding an installation’s permissions requires new pairing and approval. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New Plugin, search for Heloow, and click Install Now. You can also upload the ZIP from the directory. 2. Activate the plugin and open Settings > Heloow. 3. Give the Heloow team your site’s HTTPS origin so they can register it in your account and issue a one-time installation code valid for ten minutes. 4. Select the authorized pages and permissions, and explicitly consent to connect to the service. 5. Connect to Heloow. The Heloow team checks the site origin and installation details before approving the connection. 6. Return to WordPress and check the connection to confirm approval. If support and integration are still disabled, this check does not synchronize knowledge. 7. Enable support and integration, then save your preferences to start chat and synchronization and allow the approved features. Also confirm your account’s support and AI settings in Heloow. You do not need to edit your theme, install Node.js dependencies, expose your database, or provide WordPress administrator credentials to Heloow. ## FAQ ### Do I need to install Node.js or use MCP? No. The plugin uses PHP and the WordPress APIs. AI and the other support features run in the Heloow service. ### Can any visitor query orders? No. The customer must be logged in to WordPress. The connector revalidates the session and order ownership on every query. Entering an email address or order number in chat does not grant access. Queries of guest orders are not included in this version. ### Does the plugin work without WooCommerce? Yes. After connection, approval, and local enablement, chat can use authorized public knowledge. Order queries are available only with WooCommerce and the corresponding permissions. ### Are pages synchronized automatically? Only the published pages you select are synchronized. Changes schedule synchronization through WordPress while the integration is enabled. If WP-Cron is disabled, use your hosting provider’s scheduler or run the knowledge synchronization action manually. Order queries run immediately and do not depend on WP-Cron. ### What happens if I deactivate or remove the plugin? Deactivation stops the plugin and its scheduled tasks, while preserving the configuration for reactivation. Disconnecting removes the local key. Uninstalling removes the plugin’s settings and temporary identifiers. WordPress content and orders are not deleted. To end the remote connection or request deletion of service data, use the Heloow dashboard and support. ### Can my account or hosting environment prevent connection? Yes. The REST API must be accessible over HTTPS with pretty permalinks, and connections to heloow.com must be allowed. The installation also depends on approval and the status of your Heloow account.
