The ranges are planning ranges compiled by Haulest from published industry tables and public quote examples. They are not bids and not a first-party median. A written quote from a licensed mover still wins. Haulest is not a carrier and does not operate trucks. **Shortcode options** * `market`: `us` (default), `ca`, or `uk`. * `distance`: `all` (default) for the full table, or one band: `local`, `regional`,` mid`, `long`, `cross-country`. * `title`: your own heading. * `button`: `0` hides the quote button under the table. Examples: * `[haulest_moving_cost market="us"]` * `[haulest_moving_cost market="ca" distance="long" title="Toronto to Vancouver, what people pay"]` * `[haulest_licence_check title="Is your mover licensed?"]` * `[haulest_quote_button text="Compare moving quotes"]` **Where the data comes from** The plugin fetches `https://haulest.com/data/moving-costs-2026.json` once every 12 hours and caches it with a transient. If haulest.com cannot be reached, the copy bundled with the plugin is used. No reader data is sent anywhere: the table renders on your server, and the licence box and quote button are plain links that open haulest. com in a new tab. Each table shows a “Data by Haulest” link. ### External services This plugin connects to haulest.com (operated by Panaweb LLC) to download the cost dataset. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/` or install it from the Plugins screen. 2. Activate it. 3. Add a shortcode to a post, page, or a Shortcode block. ## FAQ ### Are the numbers quotes? No. They are research ranges with a date on them. The plugin says so under every table. ### Does the plugin add tracking? No scripts, no cookies, no pixels. Links to haulest.com carry UTM tags so the Haulest desk can see that a visit came from a WordPress site. ### Can I change the colours? Yes. Every element has a `haulest-mc__` class.
