## Description

GPL Ji Fast Cache is a lightweight WordPress caching and performance optimization
plugin designed to improve page delivery and reduce unnecessary front-end work.

Version 1.0.3 keeps the Free edition focused on caching and basic HTML/CSS/media
optimization while reserving advanced JavaScript, LCP, critical CSS, font, preload,
and rendering controls for GPL Ji Fast Cache Pro.

The Free version includes:

 * Page Cache
 * Cache lifespan controls
 * Cache exclusion rules
 * Cache controls for logged-in users
 * Minify HTML
 * Minify CSS
 * Combine CSS Files
 * Remove Query Strings from Static Resources
 * Browser Cache
 * Lazy Load Images
 * Lazy Load Iframes and Videos
 * Remove WordPress Emojis
 * Homepage Cache Preload

Separate Mobile Cache is not included in Free and remains a Pro feature.

### Free Features

#### Page Cache

Creates and serves cached HTML pages for eligible visitors to reduce repeated PHP
and WordPress processing.

#### Cache Settings

Control cache lifespan, URL exclusions, cookie exclusions, query-string caching
behavior, and logged-in-user caching.

#### Minify HTML

Removes unnecessary whitespace and HTML comments from eligible generated output.

#### Minify CSS

Minifies eligible local external CSS files and inline style blocks. Original source
files are not modified.

#### Combine CSS Files

Combines consecutive compatible local stylesheets into fewer requests. Protected,
media-specific, cross-origin, nonce/integrity-protected, and @import stylesheets
are skipped where necessary.

#### Remove Query Strings from Static Resources

Removes the standard `ver=` query parameter from front-end CSS and JavaScript URLs.

#### Browser Cache

Adds standard Apache cache rules for common static resources when `.htaccess` is
writable.

#### Lazy Load Images

Enables WordPress lazy loading for eligible front-end images.

#### Lazy Load Iframes and Videos

Enables lazy loading for eligible iframe embeds and video frames.

#### Remove WordPress Emojis

Disables WordPress emoji detection scripts and emoji styles on the front end.

#### Cache Preload

Optionally warms the homepage cache automatically after the cache is cleared.

### View All Pro Features

The Free plugin includes a **View All Pro Features** section in the WordPress admin.
It lists only advanced features that are not already available in Free.

Features that have a basic Free counterpart are presented as advanced Pro capabilities
instead of being duplicated. Pro includes advanced JavaScript optimization, advanced
CSS processing, Remove Unused CSS, Critical CSS, LCP optimization, advanced image
handling, Google Fonts optimization, advanced preload, rendering optimization, and
advanced cache rules.

### Documentation

#### Getting Started

After activating GPL Ji Fast Cache, open the plugin from the WordPress admin menu.
Configure the available settings, save your changes, and clear the cache after major
content or configuration changes.

#### Page Cache

Page Cache stores generated HTML for eligible front-end GET requests and serves
cached responses until the cache expires or is cleared.

#### Cache Controls

Cache Lifespan controls cache validity. URL, query-string, cookie, and logged-in-
user controls help prevent caching where dynamic content could serve personalized
or changing content.

#### File Optimization

Minify HTML reduces unnecessary HTML whitespace and comments. Minify CSS optimizes
eligible local CSS and inline styles without modifying original source files. Combine
CSS combines compatible local stylesheets where safe. Remove Query Strings removes
the standard `ver=` parameter from front-end CSS and JavaScript URLs.

#### Browser Cache

When `.htaccess` is writable, Browser Cache adds standard caching rules for common
static resources.

#### Lazy Loading

Lazy Load Images and Lazy Load Iframes and Videos use WordPress-supported loading
behavior for eligible front-end media.

#### Remove WordPress Emojis

Disables WordPress emoji detection scripts and related emoji styles on the front
end.

#### Cache Preload

Homepage Cache Preload can warm the homepage cache after cache clearing.

#### Clear Cache

Use Clear Cache after major content or configuration changes when cached HTML needs
to be regenerated.

## FAQ

### Does the Free version require a license key?

No. GPL Ji Fast Cache Free has no license activation or license-key system.

### Which optimization features are free?

Page Cache, cache controls, Minify HTML, Minify CSS, Combine CSS, Remove Query Strings,
Browser Cache, Lazy Loading, Remove WordPress Emojis, and Homepage Cache Preload
are available in the Free version.

### Why are JavaScript Delay and Defer not in Free?

They are part of the advanced GPL Ji Fast Cache Pro optimization layer. Free is
intentionally focused on caching and basic HTML/CSS/media optimization.

### Does Free include Separate Mobile Cache?

No. Separate Mobile Cache is a Pro feature.

### Can I use the Free features without GPL Ji Fast Cache Pro?

Yes. The Free plugin’s listed caching and optimization features work without a license
or Pro activation.

### Does the plugin modify my original CSS files?

No. Minified and combined CSS is written as generated cache assets; original theme
and plugin CSS files are not edited.

### Is WooCommerce supported?

Yes. Cart, Checkout, and My Account paths are excluded from page cache by default.
Review your cache exclusions after changing cache settings on a WooCommerce site.

### Can I use it with another caching plugin?

Running multiple page-cache or optimization plugins can cause conflicts or stale
cached content. Avoid enabling overlapping page-cache systems unless you know they
are compatible.
