Upload the `gotasks-content-scheduler` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install the plugin ZIP from the WordPress admin. 2. Activate the plugin through the `Plugins` screen in WordPress. 3. Open `GoTasks Content Scheduler` from the WordPress admin menu. 4. Create a reserved update from a supported post or page. 5. Configure external cron settings from the plugin settings page if needed. ## FAQ ### How are scheduled updates executed? Scheduled updates can be executed by WP-Cron, manually from the admin screen, or through an optional external cron URL for environments where a server cron or external cron service is preferred. ### Is an external cron required? No. External cron execution is optional and disabled by default. ### Is the external cron URL protected? Yes. External cron execution requires a generated token and must be enabled in the plugin settings. Do not share the URL publicly. ### Does the plugin create backups? Yes. The plugin creates JSON backups before applying scheduled updates. Restore backups are also created before restore operations. ### Does the plugin support ACF? The plugin supports selected basic ACF field types. Complex ACF fields may be included in backups, but scheduled editing support is limited. ### Will completed jobs be executed again automatically?
