Installation

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

In WordPress:

Go to Plugins > Add New > search for :: Get First Image Set As Featured Image ::
Press Install Now for the Get First Image Set As Featured Image plugin
Press Activate Plugin

To install manually instead:

Upload the get_first_image_set_as_featured Image directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress

Doesn’t work

Plugin doesn’t work on 4.8.1, nothing is happening after activating the plugin.
Also, the user interface doesn’t exist and it’s not possible to review or manage plugin’s action.

Does not work with WP 4.7

Perhaps I’m ignorant, but if there’s an image within the post, then this plugin is supposed to assign that image as the “featured/thumbnail image”. It doesn’t.
