Genesis Custom Footer

Description

You must have the Genesis framework installed with an active Genesis child theme to use this plugin.

This plugin adds a section to the Genesis Theme Settings page where users can modify or replace the default Genesis footer credits. You can use any of the existing Genesis footer shortcodes, your own HTML, or just simple text.

Compatibility

Genesis Custom Footer is compatible with any Genesis child theme, whether created by StudioPress or by a third party developer.

Installation

  1. Upload the entire genesis-custom-footer folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory (or install directly by searching in Plugins > Add New)
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. In your Genesis Theme Setting menu, customize your footer from the “Genesis Custom Footer” box.

I don’t see any options after activating the plugin. Why not?

This plugin requires the Genesis framework. If you are using a Genesis theme, navigate to Genesis > Theme Settings to enter your custom footer text.

After installation to try to reach the settings page just turned out not to have the right to enter the page. No use for me as the administrator.
