This plugin is very simple yet provides so much functionality in a clean and easy way from your front end post needs. I have tried many other plugins( free and paid) they didn’t come close to this when it comes to front end posting. I am setting up a members only area of our website and I want to make things simple and attractive and keep people out of the backend for writing posts..it would just confuse a lot of our users. I tested a number of different forum plugins such as BBPress but was very frustrated until I gave Frontierpost a go! It is pretty easy to set up, has a number of good features and allows you to set controls quite flexibly; for example, you can restrict posting of certain category types to certain members. I think Finnj really gave a lot of thought about what makes sense for the end user and not technical experts or developers and I sure wish there were more such plugins that keep this in mind. Finnj has another plugin in called Restrict Media which is a good complement to FrontierPost. I also received quick and helpful responses to my inquiries.
