Use this plugin to: * connect a WooCommerce store to your Fortuna account * sync store, product, and order data into Fortuna * keep order and product changes up to date * support approval-aware actions such as refunds through Fortuna This plugin is a connector for the hosted Fortuna customer service platform. Start in Fortuna Connections and choose WooCommerce. 2. Enter the live WordPress site URL for the WooCommerce store. 3. Fortuna opens the WordPress approval screen for that site. Log in as a WordPress administrator and approve the request. 4. Fortuna installs or opens `Fortuna AI Customer Service`, starts the connect flow, and returns after the first sync completes. 5. If automatic install is unavailable, install the plugin from `Plugins -> Add New`, open `Fortuna AI Customer Service`, and use the recovery setup link only when Fortuna or support asks for it. 6. Use the activation key shown on your Fortuna onboarding page only if Fortuna support instructs you to use the manual fallback. #### Install from a review zip 1. Use this path only when Fortuna or support provides the review zip. 2. In WordPress admin, go to `Plugins -> Add New -> Upload Plugin`. 3. Upload the `fortuna-cs` zip package. 4. Activate the plugin. 5. Open `Fortuna AI Customer Service`. 6. If Fortuna did not open the setup automatically, paste the recovery setup link into `Recovery setup link`, click `Use setup link`, then click `Connect with Fortuna`. 7. Keep the original WordPress tab open while Fortuna finishes the first sync. 8. Use the activation key shown on your Fortuna onboarding page only if Fortuna support instructs you to use the manual fallback. ## FAQ ### Do I need a Fortuna account? Yes. The plugin connects a WooCommerce store to the hosted Fortuna service. ### Does the plugin work without WooCommerce? No. WooCommerce must be installed and active before you activate the plugin. ### How does store connection work? The normal path starts in Fortuna Connections. Enter the live WooCommerce site URL, approve the request in WordPress, and Fortuna installs or opens the plugin for that store. The `Recovery setup link` field is a fallback for manual zip installs or expired handoffs; do not paste the browser URL from Fortuna. Activation key entry remains available only as a support-assisted fallback. ### Can support help me point the plugin at a different Fortuna backend for verification? Yes. `Fortuna AI -> Settings` includes an optional `Backend API Base` field for support-assisted verification or controlled local testing. Leave it blank for the normal hosted Fortuna service. Use a fully qualified backend such as `http://127.0.0.1: 8790/api/v1` only when you intentionally need a WordPress test store to connect against a non-production Fortuna environment. ### What does the plugin sync? The plugin syncs store metadata, products, categories, orders, policies, shipping methods, and payment gateway context used by Fortuna. ### Does the plugin connect to an external service? Yes. When you use the connect flow, load a Fortuna setup link, or run the connector after activation, the plugin exchanges setup and connector requests with the hosted Fortuna service at `app.hirefortuna.com` and `api.hirefortuna.com`. After you connect your store, the plugin sends the store data needed for support automation, including store metadata, products, categories, orders, policy content, shipping methods, and payment gateway context.
