What you can do with this plugin?: – Add more post types to main query ( home, author and other archive pages ) – Show only posts from specific categories or to exclude
Installation
- Unzip
- Upload “filter-main-query” folder to the “/wp-content/plugins/” directory
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
- To change the settings, go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Filter Main Query.
- That’s it!

Why should I use this plugin?
The default WordPress settings does not have the option to filter the main query, so this plugin brings the option to do so.
