File Proxy lest you protect / restrict access to a specific embedded file making sure users are logged in before they can download any files.

  1. Install through the WordPress admin.

  1. Upload file-proxy to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
  3. Place [file-proxy id='attachment_id']link text[/file-proxy] or [file-proxy id='attachment_id'] in your page or post
