Featured YouTube/Image Slider for WordPress is a jQuery based content slider that allows you to display both YouTube Videos and Images anywhere on your site by using a shortcode.

Installation

  1. Upload featuredyoutubeimageslider folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Create a New Post using the “YTIR” Custom Post Type
  4. Enter the YouTube ID for the video if you want to display a video
  5. Upload a featured image to the post, even if you entered a YouTube ID as this is used for the thumbnail image
  6. If you do not enter a YouTube ID, then your featured image will be displayed instead of a YouTube Video
  7. Use the [ytimageslider] shortcode anywhere on any page or post on your WordPress site to display the rotator.

FAQ

Do I have to enter a YouTube ID?

No, if you do not enter a YouTube ID, then the featured image will be displayed.
