Set up your **catalog** — categories and services, each with its own price and optional variants. 2. Create an **invoice** (standard or custom), picking catalog items or entering custom line items, with tax, discount, and partial-payment support. 3. The plugin automatically creates or matches a **customer** record from the invoice’s contact details and keeps running stats (total invoices, total spend, balance due) up to date. 4. Optionally set a **follow-up date** on the invoice; it will surface on the Follow- ups screen, and reminders can be sent to the customer via **WhatsApp**. 5. Upload the `fauran-invoice-manager` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory, or install the plugin through the WordPress plugins screen directly. 2. Activate the plugin through the “Plugins” screen in WordPress. 3. Use the “Fauran Invoices” menu in wp-admin to configure the catalog and start creating invoices. **Demo data:** on first activation only, the plugin seeds one demo category with three services, one demo customer, and two sample invoices (one standard, one custom) so you can see how everything fits together before entering real data. This happens exactly once per install — reactivating or updating the plugin will not seed it again. If you don’t want the demo data, simply delete the demo invoices, customer, services, and category from their respective admin screens; deleting them will not trigger a re-seed. ## FAQ ### Does this plugin store data in custom database tables? Yes. The plugin creates its own tables for invoices, customers, services, categories, payments, and reminders on activation, and removes them on uninstall if the corresponding setting is enabled. ### Can I import existing customers? Yes, from the Tools page you can import customers from a CSV file with `name` and` phone` columns (and optional `email`, `reminder_date`, `address`, `company_name` columns). ### Does deleting an invoice delete the customer? No. Deleting an invoice removes that invoice and its line items, payments, and any reminder tied to it, then recalculates the owning customer’s stats — the customer record itself is untouched. ### Can I disable the “Powered by” credit? Not from the settings page — it’s always shown there by design. Developers can hide it using the `faurinma_show_powered_by` filter.
