Embeditor

Description

This plugin adds embedable code underneath an uploaded image into posts. Currently it is restricted to image mime types, but functionality may be expanded in the future.

Upon upload of the image, the user is provided 4 options. Embed Heading, Embed Source, Embed Text, and Size. Embed Heading specifies the embed text that will be displayed in the post. ‘Embed Source’ is the

source URL of the media. ‘Embed Text’ is the text that will be displayed in the embeded link or caption.

Installation

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

The easiest way to install this plugin is to go to Add New in the Plugins section of your blog admin and search for “EmbEditor.” On the far right side of the search results, click “Install.”

If the automatic process above fails, follow these simple steps to do a manual install:

  1. Extract the contents of the zip file into your /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
