## Installation

 1. Upload the `elix-custom-fields-and-post-types` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/`
    directory, or install directly through the WordPress plugins screen.
 2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
 3. Navigate to **Elix Fields** in the admin sidebar to start creating field groups.

### How do I display a custom field in my theme template?

### Does this plugin work with Gutenberg (Block Editor)?

Yes! Custom field groups are compatible with both the Gutenberg block editor and
the Classic editor.

### Are custom field values preserved upon plugin deactivation?

Yes. Field group definitions and post metadata remain stored in your database.
