No data is sent anywhere until you take an explicit action (such as clicking “Optimize”,“ Generate”, or running an audit). If you never use an AI feature, no external requests are made. **Anthropic (Claude API)** ElevaRank uses the Anthropic Claude API to generate SEO suggestions, article drafts, meta tags, and analysis. * What is sent, and when: only when you trigger an AI action, the relevant post title and content (and, for business descriptions, the business details you entered) are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate a response. * When it happens: only on your explicit action in the WordPress admin. Upload the `elevarank` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install the zip via Plugins Add New Upload. 2. Activate the plugin. 3. Go to ElevaRank Settings, add your Anthropic API key (from platform.claude.com), and describe your site niche. 4. Run your first scan under ElevaRank SEO Audit, or open any post to use the ElevaRank SEO panel. ## FAQ ### Do I need an API key? Yes. ElevaRank’s AI features require an Anthropic API key (from platform.claude. com), billed to your own Anthropic account. Alternatively you can use ElevaRank’s optional hosted credits service. See the “External services” section for details. ### Does the AI publish content on its own? No. Articles are always saved as drafts. SEO fixes are only applied automatically if you explicitly enable autonomous mode — and even then, only safe fixes (meta tags, alt text, headings). Full-post optimizations always wait for an administrator’s approval. ### Is any data sent to external servers? Only when you use an AI feature, and only the content needed to generate that result. See the “External services” section above for exactly what is sent and to whom. If you never trigger an AI action, no external requests are made. ### Which AI model does it use? Claude by Anthropic. You can choose the model in Settings. ### Will it conflict with Yoast or Rank Math? No — it detects them and writes SEO titles, descriptions, and social tags into their fields, so everything shows up in your usual SEO plugin. ### Will this get me a Google Knowledge Panel? ElevaRank publishes the correct structured data that Google reads, but Google alone decides when to display a Knowledge Panel.
