## Description

Editorial Kanban helps content teams manage their publishing workflow with a clean
board view directly inside WordPress.

Instead of juggling spreadsheets, notes, and scattered admin screens, your team
can manage content tasks in one place. Create cards, assign teammates, add deadlines,
upload attachments, leave comments, and follow activity history as work moves from
idea to completion.

#### Core features

 * Visual kanban board inside WordPress admin
 * Default workflow columns for getting started quickly
 * Create and edit task cards with title, description, priority, and due date
 * Drag and drop cards between workflow stages
 * Assign cards to WordPress users
 * Card detail modal with comments, attachments, and activity history
 * File attachments through the WordPress media library
 * Activity log for tracking changes on each card
 * Email notifications for assignment and task updates
 * Role-aware behavior for viewers, contributors, authors, editors, and administrators
 * Drag and drop interactions powered by the `@hello-pangea/dnd` library

#### Good fit for

 * Editorial teams managing article production
 * Site owners coordinating writers and editors
 * Content managers who want lightweight task tracking in WordPress
 * Teams that prefer a board view over a traditional editorial calendar

Editorial Kanban is built for teams who want a practical workflow tool without leaving
the WordPress dashboard.

### External services

This plugin can load user avatar images from Gravatar to display WordPress user
profile photos inside the board, comments, and activity history.

When avatar images are shown, the site may send a hash derived from the relevant
user’s email address to Gravatar in order to request that user’s avatar image. This
happens when the board, card details, comments, or activity history are viewed and
the site is configured to use Gravatar avatars.

Gravatar is provided by Automattic.
