When a customer selects eDebit Direct Draft during WooCommerce checkout, the plugin creates a payment session with the eDebit Direct service. The customer is then redirected to the eDebit Direct hosted payment application to complete the payment process. The plugin provides the WooCommerce integration and communicates with the eDebit Direct service. Payment processing, bank-account connectivity, account verification, and related downstream functionality are handled by eDebit Direct’s services. The plugin does not directly integrate with Yodlee. The plugin communicates with the following eDebit Direct application: https://app.edebitdirect.com/ The eDebit Direct service is used when a customer selects the eDebit Direct Draft payment method and initiates a payment. During payment processing, the plugin may transmit information required to create and process the payment session. This may include: * WooCommerce order ID * Order amount * Customer first name * Customer last name * Customer email address * Customer phone number * Billing address * City * State * Country * ZIP/postal code * Payment method information required by the eDebit Direct service After the payment session is created, the customer is redirected to the eDebit Direct hosted payment application to complete the payment process. The eDebit Direct service may use third-party services for payment processing, bank connectivity, account verification, or related functionality. Such functionality is provided and managed by eDebit Direct and is not directly integrated into this WordPress plugin. The plugin does not directly connect to Yodlee. Any bank-account verification or connectivity services used by eDebit Direct are handled by eDebit Direct. The minimum PHP version should be verified against the PHP versions supported and tested by the merchant before installation. ### Configuration After activating the plugin: 1. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments. 2. Select eDebit Direct Draft. 3. Enable the payment method. 4. Enter the API credentials provided by eDebit Direct. 5. Configure the available gateway options. 6. Save the settings. An active eDebit Direct merchant account and valid API credentials are required. ### How It Works 1. The customer adds products to the WooCommerce cart. 2. The customer proceeds to WooCommerce checkout. 3. The customer selects eDebit Direct Draft as the payment method. 4.
