The ebookmakr for WordPress-plugin allows you to select your blog/blog posts and export them via an API to The plugin requires that you first sign-up for a free account at to create, publish, and market ebooks online. Once blog-posts have been exported with the ebookmakr plugin, a new ebook will appear in your account on in the section titled “My ebooks.” Each individual blog post will appear as its own chapter. Pictures and comments will also export to as per your preference. Generate your ebook.



  1. Upload ebookmakr-for-wordPress folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  2. Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress
  3. Goto ebookmakr-section in your admin panel.


Where do I get the API key I am asked for?

In order to get your API key, you have to first sign-up with Log-in, then go to ‘Edit your account’ via The API is displayed at the bottom of the page, see also screenshot-2.

Why are my pictures not transfered to

ebookmakr for WordPress will only export pictures that were previously uploaded to your blog. If a picture is sourced from a different location, it not copied from that location. You have to upload the missing picture manually when you edit the ebook at
