It catches changes from **any source**: manual edits, quick edit, the built-in CSV importer, REST API, and third-party plugins. Both **regular** and **sale** prices are monitored, for simple products and **every variation**. Bulk operations are smart: instead of one email per product, changes are grouped into summary emails with a table of all changes. A large import may produce a few batch summaries — never hundreds of separate messages. Nothing leaves your site unless you deliberately opt in yourself. Opting in is entirely optional and always off until you act. If you click the “Opt In” link that the plugin adds next to itself on the Plugins screen, and confirm on the screen that follows, basic diagnostic data (WordPress and PHP version, site language, site URL, admin email, plugin version) is sent to Freemius. You can opt out again at any time from the same link, which stops all communication. If you buy and activate a Pro license, the data required to validate and manage that license (license key, site URL, account email) is sent to Freemius. Upload the plugin to `/wp-content/plugins/`. 2. Activate it through the “Plugins” menu. WooCommerce must be active. 3. Configure recipients in Settings Price Change Alerts. With an empty list, notifications go to the site admin email. ## FAQ ### Does it catch price changes made by importers or other plugins? Yes. The plugin hooks into WordPress metadata updates, which is the layer virtually every importer and plugin writes prices through. ### Will an import of 500 products send 500 emails? No. Changes are combined into summary emails. Importers that process products in batches may produce one summary email per batch, but never one email per product. ### Does it work with variable products?
