Add any text or HTML to a dynamic sidebar
Add any text or HTML inside quotation marks after the “echo” below. Be sure to preceed any quotation marks in the HTML or Text with a backslash (the key below delte on American keyboards) to avoid breaking the plugin. Position your inserted code within the dashboard from the Widgets page within WordPress.
For multiple HTML insertions in a single sidebar, simply duplicate this .php file, then change all instances of “HTMLInsert” in the code to “HTMLInsert2”. Change the file name to HTMLInserter2.php, and place it in /wp-content/plugins/.
Modifying active plugins can severely mess up your WordPress installtion. I would highly recommend you make any modifications with the plug-in inactive, or better yet, not installed.
Copy the plug-in file (“HMTLInserter.php”) to /wp-content/plugins/.
