## Description

Durofy HVAC Quote Calculator adds an instant estimate form to any page with the
shortcode `[dhqc_calculator]`.

Visitors answer 2 quick questions — home size and system type — and instantly see**
Good, Better, and Best** options side by side, each with a ballpark installed-cost
range and estimated yearly energy savings. Showing three options instead of a single
price helps visitors pick the tier that fits their budget. The visitor picks an
option, then requests an exact quote. Every request is saved as a lead in your dashboard
and emailed to you.

**Features**

 * Mobile-friendly estimate form via shortcode
 * Side-by-side Good / Better / Best tier comparison with energy-savings estimates
 * 5 system types: Central AC, Gas Furnace, Full System, Heat Pump, Ductless Mini-
   Split
 * Fully adjustable installed-cost pricing per system and tier
 * Quote-request lead capture with honeypot spam protection, ZIP code, and TCPA
   consent
 * Leads dashboard with contact details and estimate summary
 * Email notification for every new quote request
 * Brand accent color to match the calculator to the site

**Pro version**

Need more? Durofy HVAC Quote Calculator Pro adds CSV lead export, webhook / Zapier
lead push, team email routing, and Twilio SMS alerts. Available from the plugin
settings page or at https://hvac.durofy.com/

## FAQ

### Where do quote requests go?

They appear under HVAC Calculator Quote Requests in your dashboard, and a notification
email is sent to the address in Settings.

### Can I change the pricing?

Yes. Every system and tier price range is adjustable under HVAC Calculator Settings.
Ranges scale automatically by home size.

### Are the energy savings figures exact?

No — they are conservative planning estimates versus a standard-efficiency system(
two-stage ~20%, variable-speed ~35%, per DOE/Energy Star guidance). Actual savings
vary by climate, usage, and equipment.
