## Description

Most Elementor sites end up with two or three addon packs installed and no idea
which widgets are really in use. This plugin reads every published post, page and
template built with Elementor and answers that question.

Tools > Widget Usage shows:

 * Every widget type in use, how many instances, on how many posts, and which plugin
   provides it
 * The same rolled up by plugin, so you can see at a glance whether an addon earns
   its place
 * A per-post view with an “Edit in Elementor” button for each entry
 * Widgets whose addon is deactivated or deleted, flagged as “Not registered” —
those pages are rendering empty placeholders right now
 * Settings from known addons (Ultimate Addons, Essential Addons, Premium Addons,
Extras for Elementor and others) that are actually set on an element, so extensions
like sticky or parallax show up even though they are not widgets
 * One-click CSV export

It reads Elementor’s data. It never changes it.

## Installation

 1. Install and activate the plugin.
 2. Go to Tools > Widget Usage.

Dovi Widget Usage for Elementor is an independent plugin by Dovi Solutions and is
not affiliated with or endorsed by Elementor.

Elementor should be active for widgets to be matched to the plugin that provides
them. Without it, counts still work but every widget is listed under its raw type
name.

## FAQ

### Does this change anything on my site?

No. It only reads the `_elementor_data` post meta that Elementor stores. Nothing
is written.

### Why does a widget show as “Not registered”?

The page still contains that widget, but no active plugin registers it any more.
Usually the addon was deactivated or deleted. Elementor renders those as blank placeholders,
so these are worth fixing or removing.

### Does it include drafts?

No, only published content, so the report reflects what visitors can actually see.

### Is it slow on a large site?

It reads every Elementor post on each page load of the report. On a site with thousands
of Elementor pages, expect the report to take a few seconds.
