## Description

Donmusa Review Showcase for Google is a small, self-contained plugin that fetches
your business reviews from the Google Places API (New) and displays them anywhere
on your site.

This plugin is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google. It uses
the official Google Places API to fetch publicly available review data.

#### Features

 * Fetches live Google reviews via the official Places API (New)
 * Smart transient caching (1 hour to 30 days) to keep API costs low
 * Shortcode [dngr_reviews] with 8 configurable attributes
 * Gutenberg block with live server-side preview
 * Two layouts: list (1-3 columns) and slider (scroll-snap, touch-friendly)
 * Schema.org JSON-LD output for SEO rich snippets
 * Star ratings with half-star support
 * Optional “Powered by Google” attribution (opt-in, default off)

### External services

This plugin connects to the Google Places API (New) to fetch customer reviews.

#### What is sent

 * Your Google API Key
 * Your Google Place ID

No user data, no visitor IP addresses, no personal information from your site is
ever sent to Google.

## Installation

 1. Upload the plugin folder to /wp-content/plugins/.
 2. Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu.
 3. Go to Settings > Review Showcase and enter your API Key and Place ID.
 4. Add the shortcode or Gutenberg block anywhere on your site.

### Does this plugin cost anything?

The plugin itself is free and open source. Google provides a monthly free credit
for the Places API.

### How do I find my Place ID?

Use Google’s official Place ID Finder.

### Are you affiliated with Google?

No. This plugin uses Google’s public Places API to fetch review data.
