Returns a 404 if the author permalink using the actual username is used. Allows authors to select what to display in the URL for their author permalink by use of the users display name. Increments a counter on the end of duplicate display names to make them unique. ### Upgrade 1. Use the plugin updater in WordPress or… 2. Delete the previous `display-name-author-permalink` folder from the `/wp-content/ plugins/` directory 3. Upload the new `display-name-author-permalink` folder to the `/wp-content/plugins/` directory ### Usage 1. Install and activate. ## Installation 1.
