A handy quoting aid for print shops. Add a tool with the **DielineKit widget** block, or with a shortcode: * `[dielinekit]` – box dieline generator * `[dielinekit widget="dieline" style="rett" unit="in"]` – starting on a mailer box, in inches * `[dielinekit widget="barcode" type="ean13"]` – barcode generator, starting on EAN-13 * `[dielinekit widget="sheet-layout"]` – sheet layout calculator * `[dielinekit attribution="yes"]` – adds an optional credit line under the widget Shortcode options: `widget` (dieline, barcode, sheet-layout), `style` (rte, ste, rett, snaplock, rsc, sleeve), `unit` (mm, in), `type` (qr, ean13, upca, ean8, upce),` height` (starting height in pixels), `attribution` (yes or no; no by default). The widgets are free to use on any site. Widgets resize themselves to fit their content. No account or API key is needed. ### External services This plugin shows tools hosted by DielineKit (https://dielinekit.com) inside an iframe. Nothing is sent until a page with a widget is viewed. * **What is loaded and when:** when a visitor views a page containing a DielineKit block or shortcode, their browser loads the widget from https://dielinekit.com/ embed/. The block editor also loads a preview of the widget while you edit a page containing the block. * **What is sent:** the widget address, which includes your site’s domain name ( so DielineKit can count which sites use its widgets) and the starting options you chose. As with any web page, the visitor’s browser also sends its IP address and user agent. * **In the widget:** the widget sets no cookies and stores nothing in the visitor’s browser. DielineKit records anonymous usage events (for example, that a widget was loaded or which box style was chosen) and error reports, together with your site’s domain. Barcode numbers, links and other text typed into a widget stay in the visitor’s browser and are not sent to DielineKit unless the visitor chooses to open the full tool on dielinekit.com. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin and upload the zip file, or search for “DielineKit Packaging Widgets”. 2. Activate the plugin. 3. Edit a page, add the **DielineKit widget** block (or a `[dielinekit]` shortcode) and choose a tool in the block settings. ## FAQ ### Is it free? Yes. The plugin and the widgets are free, for personal and commercial sites. ### Does the plugin add a link to my site? Not unless you ask it to. The optional credit line under a widget is off by default; turn it on in the block settings or with `attribution="yes"`. The widget itself shows a small “Powered by DielineKit” note in its own footer. ### Will it slow my site down? The widget runs in its own frame and loads lazily, when a visitor scrolls near it. The plugin adds one small script (about 1 KB) to pages that contain a widget, and nothing to other pages. ### What happens when a visitor wants more than the widget offers?
