This plugin is **not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by ElevenLabs**. ElevenLabs is a trademark of its respective owner. #### Features * Generate MP3 audio from post or page content using your ElevenLabs API key * Player themes: Default, Compact, and Modern * Live appearance preview in settings * Reads content from the WordPress editor (classic / Gutenberg) and Elementor * BeBuilder (BeTheme) layouts are detected and are not read * Shortcode `[dseltts_audio]` for manual placement #### Premium add-on A separate Premium add-on (not included in this plugin) can add extra player themes and generation options. It is required for generating speech. You must create your own ElevenLabs account and enter your own API key in the plugin settings. The plugin does not create an ElevenLabs account for you and does not use a shared key. Data is sent only when an administrator or editor generates audio (from the post editor or from plugin settings when fetching voices or usage statistics). The following data may be sent to ElevenLabs: * The prepared article text (and optionally the post title) when generating speech * Your ElevenLabs API key in the `xi-api-key` request header * Voice ID and voice settings (stability, similarity) when generating speech * No visitor browsing data is sent while someone only plays an already generated file on the site Generated MP3 files are stored in your WordPress Media Library (uploads folder). Playback on the site uses that local file and does not call the ElevenLabs API again. Upload the plugin folder to `/wp-content/plugins/` or install via Plugins Add New. 2. Activate the plugin. 3. Open **DevStrefa TTS** in the admin menu. 4. Enter your ElevenLabs API key, connect, and choose a voice. 5. Open a post or page and generate audio. ## FAQ ### Do I need an ElevenLabs account? Yes. The plugin uses the official ElevenLabs HTTP API with the key you enter in settings. ### What data is sent to ElevenLabs? When you generate audio, the plugin sends the selected post or page text and your API key to api.elevenlabs.io. Fetching the voice list or usage statistics also uses your API key. See the External services section above. ### Which content is read? The WordPress editor (including Gutenberg blocks) and Elementor canvas content. BeBuilder / BeTheme page layouts are not converted to speech. ### Can I place the player myself? Yes.
