Installation

Perform the following steps to install the Delivra Email Marketing plug-in:

  1. If necessary, upgrade WordPress and WooCommerce to the supported versions.
  2. Download the plug-in file to your computer and unzip it.
  3. Unzip and upload contents of the plugin to your /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  4. In the Admin portal for your store, click on the WooCommerce > Abandoned Carts menu. The Delivra Email Marketing for WooCommerce page will be displayed, with 3 tabs.
  5. Click the Turn on the Delivra integration link. This link will open a new browser tab, and require you to log into Delivra to authorize the connection.
  6. Return to the Admin portal for your store.
  7. Click on the Settings tab, and configure the number of minutes to check for abandoned carts. We recommend setting this value to 60 minutes. This will allow shoppers enough time to complete the checkout process.
  8. Click the Save Changes button.

FAQ

Which versions of WordPress are supported?

This plug-in has been tested with WordPress 4.4.2 and 4.5.3. If it’s installed with an earlier version of WordPress, it may not produce the expected results.

Which versions of WooCommerce are supported?

The plug-in has been tested with WooCommerce 2.5.5. If it’s installed with an earlier version of WooCommerce, it may not produce the expected results.

Why is my WooCommerce store not allowing authorization to Delivra?

The WooCommerce authorization process requires the Permalink settings to be set to something other than Plain. To review the Permalink Settings in your WordPress site, click on Settings > Permalinks. Under Common Settings, select an option other than Plain.

Why are my abandoned carts and orders not appearing in Delivra on a regular basis?

At the time of publication, the job within WordPress, WP Cron, only runs when someone visits your site. If you are not receiving carts and orders in a timely manner, we recommend installing Improved Cron (https://wordpress.org/plugins/improved-cron) to simulate someone visiting your site every minute.
