Whenever you or WordPress saves or drafts a post or a page in your WordPress, a revision of each edit is automatically stored in your database tables. Each revision will slowly increase the size of your database.
For example, if you have 1 post and it has 10 revisions you could be storing up to 10 copies of older and unused data in your database.
You can’t delete these revisions manually, but, we created a plugin for this task.
- Upload the plugin to your ‘wp-content/plugins’ directory, or download and install automatically through your admin panel.
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
- How this plugin works?
This plugin just deletes the revision table from your mySQL database.
- How to delete post revisions with this plugin?
Just visit Delete Post Revisions menu from your Settings menu.
- How to donate or contribute?
I’m a teen WordPresser, so I don’t have a Paypal account, so just simply support this plugin by visiting our website Tricks Panda.
