I just installed this on my community website, and my users are loving it! A lot easier for them to change their user profile images on my site itself, without WordPress forcing everybody to use Gravatar in order to do so! If you don't mind people uploading their pictures directly to your site and have enough room to store them all without slowing up the site, use this plugin! As long as the dev continues to update this plugin, I plan to keep using it! 🙂
