daita builds production AI agents that answer, qualify and book — 24/7, multilingual,
on web, phone and WhatsApp. This plugin adds your agent to your WordPress site.
No coding: install, paste your **Workspace ID** (from https://daita-ai.com/get-started),
and save. The chat bubble appears on your site instantly. Your agent answers from
your own knowledge, captures leads and books meetings.

### External services
This plugin connects your site to **daita**, a third-party AI service, to provide
the
chat/voice assistant. This is required for the assistant to work.
* It loads the widget script from `https://daita-ai.com/embed.js`.
* When a visitor opens the chat, the widget sends their messages (and, only if
you enable
voice, audio) together with your Workspace ID to the daita backend(`
https://*.cloudfunctions.net`) to generate replies. The widget also sends a one-
time per-session “heartbeat” (your site’s hostname + Workspace ID) so you can
confirm the agent is installed.
* No data is sent until a visitor interacts with the widget (the heartbeat aside).

## Installation
1. Upload the plugin to `/wp-content/plugins/` (or install via Plugins Add New Upload).
2. Activate it through the “Plugins” menu in WordPress.
3. Go to **Settings daita AI Agent**.
4. Paste your **Workspace ID** and click “Save & go live”.

### Is the plugin free? How much does it cost?
The plugin is free and open source. The daita service it connects to is a paid subscription
with a 14-day free trial. Creating and testing your agent is free (no card). To

### Where do I get a Workspace ID?
At https://daita-ai.com/get-started — it looks like `acme-ab12cd`. Setup takes about
a minute.
### Do I need to write any code?
No. Paste your Workspace ID in Settings daita AI Agent and save. The widget loads
on every front-end page automatically.
### Is voice included?
The widget supports text chat out of the box. Real-time voice is optional and only
activates if you enable it for your workspace.
### Will it slow down my site?
No. The widget script is enqueued in the footer and deferred, so it loads after
your page content.
### Where is my data processed?
Data at rest is stored in the EU by default. The agent runs on EU-hosted infrastructure

### Is it GDPR compliant?
daita is built EU-sovereign and GDPR / EU AI Act aligned by default. A Data Processing

### How do I temporarily hide the assistant?
Go to Settings daita AI Agent and uncheck “Show on site”, then save. No need to
deactivate the plugin.
### In which languages does the agent reply?
Your agent answers in your visitor’s language automatically (multilingual by default).
