Shoppers describe what they need and the assistant answers from your catalog and the store pages you choose, such as shipping, returns or FAQ. Answers include product cards with current prices and availability. Shoppers can select a variation, choose a quantity and add the product to their cart themselves. The assistant cannot place orders, process payments or change your store’s data. #### Features * Connect your store to the Sklepowy service from WooCommerce Sklepowy. * Synchronize published products, variations and selected pages. * Automatically update the catalog when a product, price, stock level or selected page changes. * Select variations and add products to the cart through the WooCommerce Store API. * Configure the greeting, language, instructions, appearance and conversation starters. * Optionally show the Sklepowy logo as the assistant avatar. Enable it on the Assistant tab. * Bundled Polish translations for the plugin dashboard and a Polish chat interface. #### Store data The plugin never sends orders, customer records, payment data, drafts, private pages or password-protected pages. It stores no AI provider keys in WordPress. It only stores your store’s connection credential for Sklepowy. ### External services This plugin connects your store to the Sklepowy service at https://czatowy.pl. The assistant requires this service to answer questions. #### What is sent, and when? * **When you connect the store:** your site address and name, currency, locale and the WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP and plugin versions. Sent when you press “ Connect this store”. * **During synchronization:** names, descriptions, SKUs, prices, stock state, categories, tags, brands, attributes, variations and image and product URLs for published products. For selected pages, their titles, URLs and text. Synchronization runs after connecting, when started manually and when the catalog or selected pages change. * **During a conversation:** the shopper’s message and conversation so far, sent directly from the browser to Sklepowy. Email addresses and phone numbers are removed before messages reach the AI. Order questions receive a fixed response without the AI. #### How does the service use this data? Sklepowy stores the catalog to search for products and answer questions. By default it builds the search index on its own servers with a self-hosted embedding model; product and page text is not sent to a third-party provider for indexing in this configuration. To prepare an answer, the service sends the question, matching products and conversation context to DeepSeek. If the operator switches the embedding provider to Google’s Gemini API, product and page text is sent to Google for indexing. Conversations are kept for a limited period and then deleted. Sklepowy does not store shoppers’ IP addresses. A random conversation identifier remains in the browser’s storage. Adding to the cart happens on your own store through the WooCommerce Store API. Sklepowy never receives cart or order data. Plan purchases are handled by Stripe. Install and activate WooCommerce and this plugin. 2. Open WooCommerce Sklepowy. 3. Press “Connect this store”. 4. On the Assistant tab, set the greeting, language and appearance. Select the avatar option if you want to use the logo. 5. On the Pages tab, choose the content the assistant can use, such as shipping and return policies. 6. Enable the assistant on the storefront and save the settings. 7. Start the catalog synchronization. Large catalogs synchronize in batches with a progress bar. An interrupted synchronization can resume from the saved position. Later changes to products and selected pages are sent automatically. ## FAQ ### Does the chat work in Polish? Yes. The plugin dashboard includes a Polish translation. You can choose Polish in the assistant settings; the chat interface follows the store’s locale. ### Does it support variable products? Yes. Shoppers select an available variation on the product card and confirm adding it to the cart. ### Where does the product information come from? The assistant uses the synchronized catalog and selected store pages. Product cards fetch the current price and availability directly from the store. ### Do shoppers know they are talking to AI? Yes. The chat explains that an AI prepares answers from the store’s catalog. ### Does the assistant check order status? The plugin does not retrieve order data. Order questions receive a fixed response directing shoppers to the store’s support, without passing the question to the AI. ### What happens when I disconnect the store? The connection credential is revoked and the synchronized catalog is deleted from the service. Conversations are deleted when their retention period ends. ### Is the Sklepowy logo required? No. You can enable it as an avatar in the Assistant settings. Otherwise, the chat uses the site’s icon if the store has one.
