Upload the `cookieclear` folder to `/wp-content/plugins/`, or install directly from the WordPress plugin directory. 2. Activate the plugin through the **Plugins** menu. 3. All core features are completely free with no limits, no pageview caps, and no watermark. ### Does it work with caching plugins? Yes. The consent banner runs entirely in JavaScript and reads consent from localStorage, so it works correctly with all major caching plugins. ### Where is consent data stored? Consent is stored in your WordPress database and in the visitor’s browser localStorage. No data is sent to external servers. ### Does it block Google Analytics until consent? Yes — in the free version, scripts tagged with a `data-cookieclear-category` attribute are blocked until the visitor gives consent. CookieClear Pro adds automatic detection and blocking without manual tagging. ### Is it compatible with Google Consent Mode v2? CookieClear Pro includes full Google Consent Mode v2 support.
