This plugin connects your WooCommerce store to your own Coldtill install, so customers can pay in crypto and the money goes straight to wallets you control. * **200+ coins on 35+ chains.** BTC, ETH, SOL, TRX, BNB, POL, USDT and USDC directly, and many more through auto-convert, settled to you as USDC or USDT. * **Self-custody.** On Ethereum, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain, Tron and Solana every customer pays into a deposit contract that can only send to your cold wallet. Bitcoin goes to your own wallet’s addresses. * **No account to freeze.** No sign-up, no KYC or KYB, and no processor holding your money. * **Classic and block checkout**, including WooCommerce high-performance order storage. * **Signed webhooks** with replay protection. Orders update automatically, and are re-checked when the customer returns to your store if a webhook is missed. You need a running Coldtill server. That server is software you install and run yourself, or one run for you by someone you choose. It is not operated by the plugin’s authors, and the plugin contacts no other service. * When a customer chooses to pay with crypto, the plugin sends the order total in USD, the order number, the customer’s billing email, and an internal customer id (the WordPress user id, or the order id for guests) to create a payment. It also sends the store’s order-received page address, which the checkout uses for its return button. * When the customer returns to the order-received page, the plugin asks that server for the payment’s status. * Your Coldtill server calls the store’s webhook URL to report payment updates. Each call is signed with your webhook secret and is rejected if the signature or timestamp is wrong. WooCommerce must already be active. 2. In Coldtill, create a project API key under API keys and copy it. 3. In WooCommerce, go to Settings, then Payments, then Coldtill. Enter your Coldtill URL and API key. 4. In Coldtill, go to Webhooks. Set the URL shown under “Webhook secret” in the plugin settings. It ends in `/wc-api/coldtill/`. Paste the signing secret into the plugin. The gateway appears at checkout only when the store currency is USD. ## FAQ ### Do I need to install Coldtill as well? Yes. This plugin only connects WooCommerce to a Coldtill server. Coldtill runs on your own Linux server with Docker. The Free edition needs no account. The install command is on https://coldtill.com/download/. ### Which store currency does it support? USD. Coldtill prices payments in US dollars, so the gateway only appears when the store currency is USD. ### Which coins can customers pay with? BTC, ETH, SOL, TRX, BNB, POL, USDT and USDC directly. Auto-convert, which you turn on in Coldtill, accepts 200+ other tokens on 35+ chains and settles them to your cold wallet as USDC or USDT. Auto-convert is off by default. ### Where does the money go? To your own wallets. On Ethereum, Base, Polygon, BNB Chain, Tron and Solana, each customer pays a deposit contract that can only send to your cold wallet. Bitcoin is paid to addresses from your own wallet. The plugin never holds funds and never sends them anywhere. ### How do order statuses change? An order moves to Processing when the payment is filled, to On hold while it is partially paid, and to Cancelled if the Coldtill payment is cancelled or replaced. If the amount Coldtill reports does not match the order total, apart from a one- cent difference, the plugin adds an order note and leaves the status unchanged. ### What if a webhook does not arrive? When the customer comes back to the order-received page, the plugin asks your Coldtill server for that payment’s status and updates the order from the answer. ### Does the plugin cost anything? The plugin is free. The Coldtill server it connects to has three editions. Free sends 2% of each sweep on chain to Coldtill’s fee contracts, Standard sends 1%, and Pro sends nothing.
