CloseNexa brings AI-assisted website chat, human replies, and WooCommerce product information into one workspace. Add chat to your WordPress website, connect your CloseNexa account, and choose the business information your assistant can use. Your team can reply personally when a visitor needs more help. #### How CloseNexa helps your business * Help customers around the clock — Once activated, AI can answer common questions using information your team has reviewed, even outside your working hours. * Bring product information into the conversation — Connect your WooCommerce catalogue so AI can use product information from the last successful import. * Keep a person in the conversation — Your team can review website conversations and reply directly when personal attention is needed. * Keep enquiries in context — Keep the conversation and the contact details visitors choose to share together for follow-up. * Stay in control of AI — Review your business information, test the chat, and activate AI when you are ready. WordPress website chat does not require WooCommerce. WooCommerce adds product catalogue information for online stores. WooCommerce product information comes from the last successful catalogue import. Current prices and availability should be checked in the store. CloseNexa does not place orders or process payments; checkout remains in your store. #### Account and AI availability A CloseNexa account is required. AI replies are available while your trial or plan includes remaining AI usage. Installing the plugin does not automatically activate AI. Your team can also reply manually to supported website conversations. Replies outside business hours depend on service availability and remaining AI usage. This does not include round-the-clock human support or a guarantee of uninterrupted service. The hosted AI trial includes up to 50 conversations for 7 days from explicit activation, with at most 10 AI answers per conversation on one verified website. Paid service options are managed in the CloseNexa dashboard. Local plugin code does not expire or require payment to unlock. A configured WhatsApp fallback opens WhatsApp directly; it does not prove WhatsApp AI delivery. Telegram delivery, Shopify and Agent/MCP integrations are not provided by this plugin. The proof is not an API key. A publicly reachable endpoint serves only that temporary proof for the exact site/blog; it cannot activate a trial. Connected administration actions request onboarding, current permissions/status, widget appearance/publication, plans, catalog sync, dashboard sign-in links and disconnect. WP-Cron refreshes public widget configuration and queues consented imports/ events. Installation credentials accompany server-to-server service requests only; redirects are disabled. No analytics or AI provider is contacted directly by the plugin before connection. With catalog consent the service reads published products/variations, attributes, prices, currencies, stock, URLs, image URLs and store/policy information through authenticated WordPress endpoints. On service-authorized eligible plans, order synchronization can include the last 90 days of order IDs, status, totals, billing email and billing phone. Cart and product context may include product IDs/names, quantities, totals, currency, page/product URLs and checkout/cart events. No card credentials, PAN or CVV are requested or synchronized. When visitors use published chat, their messages, voluntarily provided contact details, scoped visitor-session proof, message ID and relevant page/product/cart context go to the service. The widget checks the original operation after an unknown result and reads team replies from the service. Browser storage preserves visitor identity and pending requests for the same installation/context; it is not a WordPress account login. Locally enrolled signed cart features require separate server authority and WooCommerce session checks; they are not granted by installing this plugin. AI processing occurs in the hosted service through its configured providers under the service terms/privacy policy. Uploaded knowledge and connection permissions are managed there. Optional avatars/product images use their configured HTTPS/HTTP image locations; a WhatsApp fallback visits wa.me only when selected. Scripts and styles are bundled locally; the plugin does not load remote executable JavaScript, CSS, fonts, iframes or a private plugin updater. The local plugin does not implement remote data retention or account deletion. Consult the service Privacy Policy and account controls. Connecting and publishing chat do not activate AI. ## Installation 1. Install and activate CloseNexa. Open CloseNexa in the WordPress menu; activation does not redirect other administration work. 2. Review the detected site, selected email, Terms and Privacy Policy. Choose Connect site and complete the account connection. No API key needs to be pasted. Existing account authorization and email verification remain required. 3. Choose contact-only chat or consent to importing your WooCommerce catalog. A WordPress administrator initiates site verification; CloseNexa checks a temporary proof endpoint for this exact installation. 4. Save Appearance and explicitly publish the chat. The optional Powered by CloseNexa website credit is off by default on every WordPress plan. Connecting the account does not opt in to this credit. 5. To prepare AI, use Prepare AI to open the exact site’s dashboard setup. Confirm knowledge and connection access, run Test AI when authorized funding is available, explicitly activate the trial and launch AI. Connecting, publishing and receiving a preview are not a successful AI test or launch. Before connecting, you may explicitly configure a direct WhatsApp link. It uses no CloseNexa account or service request and sends no data until a visitor selects it. Disconnect does not enable this pre- connection option. 6. Open Dashboard sends a single-use sign-in link to the connected account. WP-Cron must run for background configuration refresh and catalog sync requests. The CloseNexa service worker processes queued imports. ## FAQ ### Is this plugin trialware? No local plugin feature expires or is unlocked by payment. The 7-day trial applies to AI processing in the external CloseNexa SaaS. The service performs conversation storage, team Inbox delivery, knowledge retrieval, authorization and AI processing. It is not merely a license-key check. ### What happens after the hosted AI trial? AI requires an eligible service entitlement. Available published manual chat and contact capture remain separate. Reconnecting does not restart the trial, reset usage or remove a manual AI pause. ### Where are the readable sources and build instructions? The distributed assets/js/aiwsc.js and assets/js/admin.js are the original, editable JavaScript sources. The assets/css/*.css files are the original stylesheets. They are not generated or minified, and require no npm, webpack, transpiler or build step. Edit these same files directly. SOURCES.txt inside the plugin documents all runtime assets, their license and reproduction instructions. No private repository access is required. There are no bundled third-party runtime libraries, fonts or images. ### Are credentials visible to visitors? Connection credentials are stored server-side in WordPress. Public widget configuration excludes API keys and signing secrets. HTTPS is required for live site verification and signed cart capabilities. Keep database backups and WordPress administration access private. ### What if CloseNexa is unavailable? WordPress storefront and checkout remain independent of the service. An expired widget configuration is not reused as current publication permission; the last snapshot is retained for diagnosis only. An open widget distinguishes waiting, retry and unknown outcomes without claiming an unconfirmed save succeeded. ### What happens on disconnect, deactivation or uninstall? Disconnect clears local credentials and caches, stops background jobs and requests remote key revocation. If the service is unavailable, revoke the old connection in Dashboard. Deactivation stops jobs and removes plugin-local temporary state. Uninstall removes local settings, credentials, caches, site proofs and scheduled jobs per site, including multisite. Only CloseNexa cart snapshots are removed from WooCommerce sessions; the ordinary cart and WooCommerce data remain. Remote conversations, trial dates and expenses are held by the service and are not reset by these actions. ### Can I upgrade an existing installation? Settings keep their existing option names. Upgrade in the same plugin directory to retain the connection. If migrating from the old ai-whatsapp-sales-closer directory, manually deactivate the old package before activating closenexa. Two active copies pause the integration and show a warning that resolves when the old package is deactivated. The plugin never deactivates another package for you.
