## Description

**ClickSyncr is a Klaviyo integration for Contact Form 7.** It connects your forms
to Klaviyo, sending each configured submission to the Klaviyo list you choose and
mapping Contact Form 7 fields to Klaviyo profile properties. Learn more about the
[Contact Form 7 to Klaviyo integration](https://clicksyncr.com/integrations/klaviyo).

Connect with a Klaviyo private API key, choose a list, and map the required email
field plus the profile fields you want to sync. Because Klaviyo identifies profiles
by email address, submitting the same email again updates the existing profile instead
of creating a duplicate.

“Klaviyo” is a trademark of Klaviyo, Inc. This plugin is an independent integration
and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Klaviyo, Inc.

#### Klaviyo Integration for Contact Form 7

 * **Connect inside Contact Form 7** — enter a Klaviyo private API key in the ClickSyncr
Klaviyo tab. No developers, no code.
 * **Choose a Klaviyo list** — select the destination independently for each Contact
   Form 7 form.
 * **Map profile fields** — map email, first name, last name, phone number, organization,
and title from your form to Klaviyo.
 * **Configure forms independently** — use different Klaviyo lists and field mappings
   for different forms.
 * **Keep your existing workflow** — Contact Form 7 continues to handle the form
   and its normal email notification.
 * **Stay in control of your data** — only the email address and the fields you
map are sent to Klaviyo when a configured form is submitted.

#### How it works

 1. Install and activate the plugin.
 2. Edit any Contact Form 7 form and open the **ClickSyncr Klaviyo** tab.
 3. Paste your Klaviyo private API key — your lists and profile fields load in the
    editor.
 4. Choose a list and map your form fields to Klaviyo profile fields (email is required).
 5. Save the form. Every submission is now synced to Klaviyo.

#### What you’ll need

 * WordPress 6.7 or higher
 * Contact Form 7 installed and activated
 * A [Klaviyo](https://www.klaviyo.com/) account with a private API key (free accounts
   work)

#### Getting your Klaviyo API key

 1. Log in to your Klaviyo account.
 2. Go to Account > Settings > API Keys.
 3. Create a private API key with `lists:read`, `lists:write`, `profiles:write`, and`
    subscriptions:write` access.
 4. Paste it into the ClickSyncr Klaviyo tab.

#### External service: Klaviyo

This plugin connects to Klaviyo, the email marketing service, to sync your Contact
Form 7 submissions with your Klaviyo account.

**When data is sent:** when you connect your API key, when your lists and fields
load in the form editor, and when a visitor submits a form you’ve configured with
ClickSyncr — at which point their form data (email and any mapped fields) is sent
to Klaviyo.

**What is sent:** your Klaviyo private API key (to authenticate), the subscriber’s
email address and any profile fields you choose to map, and the list you select.

By using this plugin you agree to Klaviyo’s [Privacy Policy](https://www.klaviyo.com/legal/privacy/privacy-notice).
You are responsible for complying with applicable data-protection laws (such as
GDPR and CCPA) and for obtaining consent from your visitors before their data is
collected and sent to Klaviyo.

## FAQ

### How do I connect Contact Form 7 to Klaviyo?

Edit a Contact Form 7 form, open the ClickSyncr Klaviyo tab, enter a Klaviyo private
API key, choose a list, and map the form’s email field and profile fields. Save
the form and submit a test entry to confirm the Klaviyo profile is created or updated.

### Can Contact Form 7 add subscribers to a Klaviyo list?

Yes. ClickSyncr sends submissions from each configured Contact Form 7 form to the
Klaviyo list selected in that form’s settings.

### Does the Klaviyo integration update existing profiles?

Yes. ClickSyncr submits the email address and mapped fields to Klaviyo, and Klaviyo
uses the email address to identify the profile, so an existing profile is updated
rather than duplicated.

### Which fields can I map?

You can map your form fields to Klaviyo’s standard profile fields: email, first
name, last name, phone number, organization, and title.

### Do I need a Klaviyo account?

Yes. You’ll need an active [Klaviyo](https://www.klaviyo.com/) account and a private
API key. Free Klaviyo accounts work.

### Where do I find my Klaviyo API key?

Log in to Klaviyo, go to Account > Settings > API Keys, and create a private key
with `lists:read`, `lists:write`, `profiles:write`, and `subscriptions:write` access.

### What happens if Klaviyo is unreachable?

Your form still sends its normal Contact Form 7 email — ClickSyncr never blocks
your forms. ClickSyncr does not queue or retry a failed sync; because Klaviyo matches
profiles by email, the next submission from the same address updates the profile.

### Can I use different settings for different forms?

Yes. Every Contact Form 7 form has its own ClickSyncr Klaviyo setup, so each can
sync to a different list with its own field mapping.
