Paste your API key from your [Checkout Clout dashboard](https://checkoutclout.com/dashboard) 5. Place a test order with a social handle to confirm everything works ## FAQ ### Is this plugin free? The plugin is free to install. A Checkout Clout account is required to use the service. Plans start at $14/month for 100 lead checks. Register at checkoutclout.com. ### Does this work without WooCommerce? No — the plugin requires WooCommerce to function. For Shopify stores, use the Checkout Clout Shopify app instead. ### What counts as a “check”? Each time we retrieve a follower count after an order, that uses one credit. If a customer does not submit a social handle, no credit is used. ### Is submitting a social handle mandatory for customers? No — the widget is completely optional. Customers can skip it and complete their order normally. ### How accurate is the follower count? As long as an account is public, accuracy is 95%+. Private accounts or very new accounts may return 0 and be scored red. ### Is this GDPR compliant? Yes. Lead data is stored on behalf of the merchant and can be deleted at any time.
