After configuring your Amazon Associates credentials and product category, CategoView retrieves product information and saves it as a catalog. The saved catalog is automatically updated on a regular basis. Go to **CategoView > Settings**. 2. Enter your Amazon marketplace, Client ID, Client Secret, and Associate Tag (Store ID). 3. Enter the Browse Node ID of the Amazon product category you want to display. 4. Click **Update Catalog** to retrieve the product catalog. 5. In Gutenberg, add the **CategoView Amazon Carousel** block to a post or page. 6. In the Widgets screen, add **CategoView Amazon Carousel**. 7. The saved product catalog will be displayed as a carousel. ### External Services ### Amazon Creators API CategoView for Amazon uses the Amazon Creators API to retrieve product information from Amazon. The plugin uses the Amazon Creators API credentials entered in the plugin settings( Client ID and Client Secret), together with the Associate Tag (Store ID), to connect to the Amazon API. The plugin sends information required for product retrieval to the Amazon API when you manually update the catalog or when a scheduled catalog update runs. This includes the selected Amazon marketplace, Browse Node ID, Associate Tag (Store ID), and the Amazon Creators API credentials entered in the plugin settings. Product information returned by the API is saved as a catalog on your WordPress site and used to display products on the front end. Use of the Amazon Creators API is subject to the Amazon Associates Program and other applicable Amazon terms and licenses for each marketplace. Go to Plugins > Add New Plugin in your WordPress admin dashboard. 2. Search for “CategoView for Amazon” and install it. 3. Activate the plugin. ## FAQ ### What is a Browse Node ID? A Browse Node ID is an identifier used by Amazon to identify a product category or subcategory. ### Where can I find the Browse Node ID? The Browse Node ID can be found in the URL of an Amazon product category or ranking page. ### What is an Associate Tag (Store ID)? An Associate Tag (Store ID) is an identifier issued through the Amazon Associates Program. Enter the tag associated with the Amazon marketplace you want to use. ### Why are products from outside the selected category sometimes displayed? Depending on the Amazon API response, products related or adjacent to the selected category may be included in the results. ### When is the catalog updated? The catalog is initially updated when you click **Update Catalog**. After that, it is updated automatically according to the scheduled update. ### What happens if a catalog update fails? The existing catalog is preserved, and the update error is recorded. ### How many products can be displayed in the Free version?
