It extends the free plugin with multiple operators, individual schedules, shared resources, recurring appointments, operator commissions, advanced customer files, an activity audit log, live notifications, finance with recurring payments and forecasts, reports, reminders, WhatsApp Business automation through Meta or Twilio, access roles, iCal synchronization, backup/migration and licensed private updates. The free plugin remains usable without a PRO license. ### Privacy CasavoLab Business Manager stores booking and customer information in the website’s own WordPress database. Depending on the configured fields, this can include name, surname, phone number, email address, selected services, appointment date/time and customer notes. The plugin does not include telemetry. The request rate limiter derives a short-lived salted hash from the request IP address. The raw IP address is not stored in the appointment tables. Site owners are responsible for providing appropriate privacy information, choosing suitable data-retention periods and handling data access or deletion requests according to the laws and policies that apply to their website. ### External services CasavoLab Business Manager can connect to CasavoLab.it only when a site administrator explicitly uses the optional PRO trial activation flow. During that action, the plugin sends the submitted trial license key, the website domain and URL, a locally generated installation identifier and the product identifier to the CasavoLab.it license-validation service. Normal free booking and customer-management functions do not require this connection. Service information, terms and privacy information are available from https://casavolab.it/business-manager-license/ . The PRO information screen also contains administrator-initiated links to CasavoLab. it for product, trial and license information. These links are opened only when the administrator chooses to visit them. WordPress email is sent through `wp_mail()`. If the website owner configures an SMTP or transactional email plugin, that separate service may process outgoing email according to its own terms and privacy policy. The appointment detail screen can provide an administrator-initiated WhatsApp action. Only when an administrator clicks it, the browser opens `https://wa.me/` with the destination phone number and a prefilled message. Nothing is sent automatically by the free plugin. The plugin does not require a JavaScript or CSS build step and does not ship generated minified application assets. Upload and activate CasavoLab Business Manager from the WordPress Plugins screen. 2. Open Business Manager > Configurazione > Servizi and create or edit your services. 3. Open Business Manager > Impostazioni and configure opening hours and booking rules. 4. Add `[casavolab_business_booking]` to a page, or use the dedicated Elementor widget. 5. Optionally create a Customer Area page with `[casavolab_customer_area]` or the dedicated Elementor widget. 6. Make sure the WordPress installation can send email reliably, preferably through a correctly configured SMTP or transactional email solution. ## FAQ ### Is the plugin self-hosted? Yes. Appointment and customer data are stored in the website’s own WordPress database. ### Does the free plugin require a CasavoLab account? No. Normal booking, agenda and customer-management functions work without a CasavoLab account or license. ### Can customers select multiple services? Yes. Selected service durations are combined automatically when available time slots are calculated. ### Does the free version support multiple operators? The free version uses one shared agenda. Multiple operators, individual schedules and operator-specific availability are available in the separate PRO add-on. ### Can customers manage their appointments? Yes. The Customer Area supports secure email magic links, upcoming bookings, history, cancellation, rescheduling, profile updates and one-click rebooking. ### Does it work with Elementor? Yes. Dedicated Elementor widgets are included for the public booking flow and Customer Area. ### Does the plugin send automatic WhatsApp messages? The free plugin does not send automatic WhatsApp messages. It can open an administrator- initiated WhatsApp action from appointment details. Automated WhatsApp Business features are part of the optional PRO add-on and require explicit configuration. ### Why are emails important? Email is used for booking confirmations, verification and Customer Area magic links.
