The setup wizard opens: choose your type of business, currency and opening hours. Tick “Add a sample price list” and “Create a Book Online page”. 3. Edit your real treatments and prices under Quick Salon Book Treatments. 4. Check Settings General Timezone is your salon’s timezone. 5. Recommended: install an SMTP plugin (e.g. WP Mail SMTP) so booking emails reliably reach the inbox. ## FAQ ### Does it take payments? The free version is for “book now, pay at the salon”. Quick Salon Book Pro adds online payments and deposits with Stripe and PayPal – you can offer pay at the salon, pay online, or let clients choose. ### What happens if a client starts paying online but doesn’t finish? The time is held for 35 minutes. If the payment isn’t completed, the booking is cancelled automatically and the time becomes free again. No emails are sent for unfinished payments. ### Can two clients book the same time? Yes, if you allow it. Set “Clients at the same time” on your location (e.g. 3 if three stylists work). The time disappears once it is full. ### Can I add bookings that come in by phone? Yes – Bookings Add booking. The time is then blocked on the website too. ### Does it work with my theme / page builder? It works with any theme. Elementor gets two dedicated widgets; everywhere else use the shortcodes or a `#book-now` link. ### Booking emails are not arriving WordPress sends email through your web host, which is often marked as spam or blocked. Install an SMTP plugin such as WP Mail SMTP and connect it to your email provider. ### Does it work with caching plugins? Yes. Available times are loaded live and are never cached. ### Is my clients’ data shared with anyone? No. Bookings are stored in your own WordPress database.
